Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Of the 6 markets with a position on both sides, 4 climbed and 2 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

WORST Civ . Every aspect of the game is worse . War is bad : you dont decide when you stop . Ages are terrible - they wipe all your progress , intervene with your plans for no reason . Science works weird . Every mechanic is annoying . The amount of mechanics is stuggering : so many confusing stuff is happening , so many alerts regarding things you never knew existed ! The game does everything to confuse and annoy you , and nothing to help . Graphics are cool . Loading times are too high , especially when age changes . Leaders are , in most cases, are some random NPCs without any historical impact . I never heard about almost any of them . I downvote this game , because I love the series , and devs must know , that they are wrong . They did huge mistake , they lost loyal fans . I hope , they will learn the lesson . But if you read this to decide to buy or not - do not buy . You will suffer.
it's not as bad as everyone on YouTube says it is; having that said, the the user interface is horrible. it is infuriating mess trying to select your units on the map or in a stack. the combat is bad even for a 4X game. if you are trying to fight a large war the turns take for F*cking ever! to give you an idea of how much I hate this; I have hundreds of games across 6 console generations and steam and this is the second review I have written.
Rausgeschmissenes Geld. CIV VI war die beste CIV!!!
I have played Civilization more than any other game in my life, but Civ 7 was the biggest disappointment. Yes the graphics are good, but that's about it, that you have to change civs mid game entirely ruins the game, i don't know what this genre should be called but it's definately not a strategy and empire building game anymore.
I gave it a shot, but Civ 7 just completely misses the mark. I am genuinely struggling to find even one positive thing to say about this game. I can tell you that the other complaints you have read in reviews from other players are all spot on. The era changing aspect of this game makes absolutely zero sense. I was actively about to take the capital of another empire and the era changed, which upgraded their armies and removed my army from their territory. For no other reason except that the era changed... Civ, the best turn based game series ever, borrowed a concept from Humankind but somehow managed to make it worse. This leads me to the modern era of the game. I don't even know what to say here. It's like the technology just ends with WWII era planes and weapons. No special forces soldiers or advanced infantry, no modern fighter planes and bombers. You get P-51s and B-52s and that's as far as it goes. To top it off, it's just as disappointing graphically. The map is dark, and the world just looks...dull. Civ 6 is a vastly superior game to Civ 7. Don't waste your money. Hoping that Civ 8 is a drastic improvement.
Refunded after an hour. Played a few games on Apple Arcade - it's very mid. Like, CIV6 at release feeled much better and that is saying something. Combat is dull (although a bit faster), City building is dumbed down to putting squares with citizens. And the age changes are the most weird thing I have ever had ever in CIV games - auto upgraded units? Why? You lose a good chunk of resources too. Sometimes you are forced into a CIV change because of that, which itself is weird (Russia starting as Greece in Athenes?). Wonders are dumb, victory conditions are very boring and religion is irrelevant as hell. Music and graphics are fine. But even at 50% discount it is a very tough sell, I'd wait for something like 70%
If you wanted a new and different civ game genuinly try Humankind instead. This game is plagued with 1000 different boring mechanics that are just click button to earn special curency all just to get some random +1 yeild. So many features from older civ titles feel like they have just been striped down to clicks and all their gameplay nuance is removed No builders No strategic resourses No religious combat No map generation options No map editor and combat is like the same 3 units the whole game The rivers are cool though
