Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Your chosen leader will endure across the Ages, with a unique ability that can help reinforce or pivot your strategy from one Age into the next. For the first time in franchise history, leader selection is separate from your civilization, giving you the freedom to create all-new strategies by mixing and matching gameplay bonuses.

Still room for improvement. But overall a decent Civ game with some nice new features. * I've been playing since the first Civ came out.
Great game. I personally love the Age system. Evolving into different civilizations in different ages improves the immersion, and make it more historical accurate. Also, it also provides a reset mechanism for players didn't start well, especially in multiplayer mode, to catch-up and keep engaging. Love to see such board game design being used.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Of the 6 markets with a position on both sides, 4 climbed and 2 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Worst Civ so far. Doesn't worth buying. I'd rather play with civ 4 than this. Simply boring .Not recommended.
When the game first came out, I was honestly not the biggest fan. I had thousands of hours on 6 between Steam and console, and just was too used to it's mechanics. After over a year of owning it, I gave it another try and I have genuinely been having a really good time. I do however wish they brought back TSL map(s) or something equivalent. In general, my main issue has been starting locations.
Многие ругают эту часть, но мне понравилось. Я была знакома только с 6 частью, может поэтому и не замечаю тех минусов которые часто игре приписываются. Если вы в поисках приятной игры чтобы позалипать вечером то это для вас.
Played CIV 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. CIV VII is were my run on this game ends... Go play VIC 3 instead guys
I have played Civ games my entire life starting with Civ 2. Played thousands of hours across Civ 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I have purchased almost every expansion for each iteration before it. I feel like Civ 7 started the same way Civ 6 started for me. I did not like the direction. I thought that civ 6 could not hold a candle to civ 5. I hated how they changed workers and the inclusion of districts seemed really silly. I disliked the art direction. I was wrong. And once the team was able to flush out their vision with Civ 6 it became a perfect game just like the iterations before it. But just like civ 6, I did not like it until the first few expansions were out. With Civ 7, they took a bold leap and fell flat on their face at launch. But now they have patched, updated, and included new functionality and it is a fun game to play. Completely different than the other iterations and I think that is a good thing. The age transitions are still jarring and I hope that one day they develop the ability to play without them. I am a bit of a completionist and I find that the ages always end before I am able to do everything I want. But once each age gets moving I have a ton of fun. I think a lot of the negativity surrounding this game is because of the price and that Firaxis has moved away from offering expansions that give a ton of new content and change of gameplay. I am pretty disappointed by this, too. And I think it is impacting peoples ability to take the game for what it is instead of comparing to previous iterations. Anyway, if you are a lover of Civ like me. Give it a shot. Don't go into it thinking it is a previous civ game. I made that mistake, too. Just like all other civ games, it keeps getting better and that is what makes Civ one of the best franchises.
The gameplay loop honestly hooked me even more than Civ 6. I finally found myself actually engaging with resources, trade, tile selection, policies — pretty much everything except maybe religious currents and espionage. You don't even need the tutorial. Everything just clicks naturally as you play your first game.
Bought it on discount and still paid too much. It feels slow somehow and man... so many menus and pop ups - maybe civ 6 had similar but they felt useful somehow ?).
