Shogo: Mobile Armor Division

Shogo: Mobile Armor Division is an unusual and explosive mix of how American developers in the late 90s envisioned the Japanese mecha genre. The game is packed with exaggeration, stereotypes, and a distinct Western twist on anime culture. As a massive fan of giant robots, this initially seemed like exactly what I was looking for, offering a cool blend of piloting massive mechs and traditional FPS segments when you have to leave the comfort of your mobile armor. However, the game has its fair share of rough edges. The on-foot FPS sections are quite difficult and unpredictable; even for someone with moderate shooter experience, these gunfights caused some genuine frustration. Visually, while the art style is pleasant for its time, the environments can feel empty, and a major issue was enemy identification, as foes frequently blend into the background textures. Around the halfway mark, the gameplay began to feel quite repetitive, making me want to drop it entirely. Yet, I pushed through to the end, choosing to fight rather than join the enemy forces. Overall, Shogo is an interesting and unique relic of its era for its attempt to bridge FPS and mecha gameplay. But while I'm glad I finished it once, would I ever replay it? Definitely not.

La verdad Shogo es toda una experiencia me dejo atonito es un poco difícil hacerlo funcionar en pcs nuevas pero si lo haces porfavor dale una oportunidad la verdad es muy entretenido. a y la misión del gato es God ES CINE

La idea es simple, si te concentras en que es un shooter de principios de los 2000, de un juego que entregaron como final su version beta, encontraras un juego grandioso aqui. Crecí con el, me trae muchos recuerdos, pero tambien pienso que si con las plataformas de hoy en día hicieran este juego, sería facilmente un Triple A.

Одна из первых игр детства еще на Windows 98. В принципе такая же как и запомнилась, разве что враги как будто бьют больнее и быстрее реакция. Из минусов, нужно много костылей для запуска
