大学的时候和室友一起窝在宿舍玩的，现在回想起来依然觉得很特别。非常喜欢画风，很温馨也很治愈，和室友们一起面对严酷的大自然，感觉完全不一样。我们一起看着小山猫出生，一起手忙脚乱地教它们捕猎，甚至一起被突然冲出来的老鹰吓得大叫。那种看着孩子们从步履蹒跚到能独当一面的成就感，是双倍的。美术风格真的太美了，每一帧都像壁纸。真的很想很怀念以前和室友一起体验这种既治愈又残酷的“云养猫”生活，承载了一段美好的回忆，每个游戏承载的都是曾经那段独特的时光和人。

To preface, I can understand why this is beloved game of it's time and how some players still hold the game dear to them today. Good animal sims are a rare gem in 2026, even more when this game was published in 2015. I wasn't even going to write a review, but then I saw this game retails at $25 off-sale... I bought this game years ago, I'm assuming (and hoping) during a sale. I was really disappointed in my playthrough of Shelter 2. I spent the first hour kind of... waiting for something to happen. I expected to face dangers similar to the first Shelter game but before I knew it, the game was over, all of my cubs survived, and nothing happened. I only learned that if you go to the winter area and sit around a very specific spot for **9-10 minutes** you may get attacked by wolves after reading reviews. I'm going to be honest, I scarcely ventured out of the first area / map during my playthrough. As other reviews mention, the game unintentionally(?) discourages you from doing so. Whenever I left the first area, I noticed food immediately grew scarcer. Since the goal of the game is to keep your kits alive... naturally, as you do in a survival game with 4 mouths to feed, I ventured back into land with plentiful prey. What is more baffling is even if I HAD explored, I would not have triggered any predator interactions. If you *really* like animal sims and want to explore everything out there, wait till its on a hefty sale. Or play the first Shelter game instead.

Здесь нужно охотиться, заботиться о детёнышах, защищать их от опасностей и наблюдать, как они растут. Каждая прогулка по лесам и долинам сопровождается приятной музыкой, а смена времён года делает путешествие ещё более живым и запоминающимся. Это игра не про экшен, а про эмоции. Она может подарить чувство умиротворения, а может заставить искренне переживать за своих малышей. И именно поэтому она запомнилась мне. Если хочется ненадолго сбежать от суеты и просто раствориться в природе - Shelter 2 прекрасно для этого подходит.

If you're playing this game just to play it as a momma lynx protecting her cubs, one-hundred percent recommend it. Is it realistic? Not really, but I did enjoy it! The collection aspect can unequivocally kick rocks. I wasn't sure if I was even going to finish it, and if not for the tireless efforts of dozens of people creating a detailed guide to locations I'm sure I never would have. I didn't struggle keeping my cubs alive, and even with the harder difficulty and having the mountain "threats" on I was always able to keep my cubs from danger. If you're looking to one-hundred percent the game, be prepared for a slog, otherwise enjoy yourself and watch those pudgy little cubs grow bigger than you until eventually they give you a final farewell before running off to start their own families.

Играл в пиратку в году 17, купил по сути просто так, в благодарность за хорошую игру. Больше запускать вряд ли буду, ибо не хочу терять котят))
