[h1] Shelter 2 [/h1] Знаю игру еще когда она появилась, и была мелкой, играла в свое время в пиратскую версию, и много чего там не было, что есть уже в полноценной игре. Подобные игры всегда любила, но именно эта часть мне нравится больше всего. Хоть это и тип игр, где ты просто играешь за животное, которое просто пытается выжить, и при этом защитить свои детенышей, но игра чувства все ровно вызывает. Ты боишься что с ними что-то случится, следишь что б все были на месте и все покушали. [b] Твоя цель - это продолжение рода. Цветокор меняется в зависимости от времени года, и делает он это постепенно и приятно для глаз. У каждого животного свой узор и покрас, даже у твоих детей. Музыка как и успокаивает, так может и насторожить, если есть опасность по-близости. Нет скриптов. [i] То есть, не обязательно что в первый раз ты можешь попасться на хищников, как было в прошлый, что придает непредсказуемости игре. I really want to like this game. I love the art style, but other than that it left me completely baffled. I completed it in 35 minutes and I have no idea how. The instructions were really bad, and my xbox controller key mapping was completely messed up despite using the official template. I started following a snowflake icon, no explanation as to why, hit a river and drowned, so headed back to the nest. No kitten hunger indicator or anything so no real reason to go back to them I guess? Headed towards another different icon on the map.. for some reason.. and after some jarring loading screens which disoriented me, I eventually saw some deer which I couldn’t catch because my stamina bar is frustratingly small. And you’re either sprinting or crawling slowly, nothing in between. Gave up on them. Then I suddenly got some text declaring that I’m hurrying back to my nest because it’s empty? Cool, surprise completely ruined. Go back to nest, yep, empty. Meh. Fall asleep I guess? Then have a dream where I find another lynx? Who I think must be my boyfriend or something? Then that’s it… the game just kinda… ended… credits rolled. Probably I’m being a noob and missing something obvious but while I really wanted to enjoy it, it felt extremely unsatisfying.

[h3]Игра, которая заставила меня переживать за пиксельных рысят.[/h3] Это очень спокойная, атмосферная игра, которая позволяет почувствовать себя матерью-рысью. Здесь нужно охотиться, заботиться о детёнышах, защищать их от опасностей и наблюдать, как они растут. Каждая прогулка по лесам и долинам сопровождается приятной музыкой, а смена времён года делает путешествие ещё более живым и запоминающимся. Это игра не про экшен, а про эмоции. Она может подарить чувство умиротворения, а может заставить искренне переживать за своих малышей. И именно поэтому она запомнилась мне. Если хочется ненадолго сбежать от суеты и просто раствориться в природе - Shelter 2 прекрасно для этого подходит.

If you're playing this game just to play it as a momma lynx protecting her cubs, one-hundred percent recommend it. Is it realistic? Not really, but I did enjoy it! The collection aspect can unequivocally kick rocks. I wasn't sure if I was even going to finish it, and if not for the tireless efforts of dozens of people creating a detailed guide to locations I'm sure I never would have. I didn't struggle keeping my cubs alive, and even with the harder difficulty and having the mountain "threats" on I was always able to keep my cubs from danger. If you're looking to one-hundred percent the game, be prepared for a slog, otherwise enjoy yourself and watch those pudgy little cubs grow bigger than you until eventually they give you a final farewell before running off to start their own families.

Better fit for casual and new gamers such as kids.[/h3] [u]The Good[/u] + Unique graphics + Decent concept + Looks and feels cozy, despite it being very nature faithful [u]The Meh[/u] ~ Too many collectables ~ Easily gets visually cluttered ~ UI is a bit clunky with no context other than intro ~ Played on keyboard, so I can't say whether it's controller compatible or not [u]The Bad[/u] - Buggy, I had issues getting stuck because the lynx jumped of a cliff and landed on it's back like a turtle - Way too many collectables, some aren't even placed out on the map and require tutorials/bugs to find - Some encounters are just really annoying to deal with - Had a kit "die" for no apparant reason when it got stuck on terrain (possibly due to cut direct visuals and "fog") - The game loop is so simple it gets boring fast Closing statement: I wanted to give this game another try and complete it for once, but I found myself getting annoyed with it.

Невероятно атмосферная и красивая игра. Мне нравится, как смело разработчики экспериментировали с тайлами и фактурой разных поверхностей и животных. Это очень смелый и необычный визуальный стиль, которым я наслаждалась всю игру. Отдельное спасибо за саундтрек и саунд дизайн, он прекрасен! Игра очень маленькая, но ощущается невероятно приятно. Спасибо авторам! <3

Играл в пиратку в году 17, купил по сути просто так, в благодарность за хорошую игру. Больше запускать вряд ли буду, ибо не хочу терять котят))

Cute, but controls and camera sucks :( I wish there would be more for the story.
