Prepare yourself to some serious emotional damage. You play as the last mother fox on Earth, trying to keep your cubs alive in a world that has been damaged beyond repair. Every day is a struggle. You need to find food, avoid danger and protect your family. Every trip outside the den feels risky. Every close call makes you nervous. Every success feels earned. And then the cubs. You spend so much time trying to keep them fed and safe, you watch them grow, learn new skills, become more independent, that it's impossible not to care about them by the end. You just really want to save and protect them from this dangerous and unfair world. The game constantly reminds you of the consequences of human actions, but it never points a finger at a single person. The world isn't ending because of one evil villain. It's ending because of countless small decisions that slowly add up over time. A forest cut down here. A river polluted there. Another habitat destroyed. Another species pushed a little closer to extinction. It truly breaks my heart. The foxes don't understand any of it. They don't know why their home is disappearing. They don't know why food is becoming harder to find. They don't know why the world keeps getting more dangerous. They're just trying to survive. As a player, though, you know exactly what's happening and why. And that's what hurts the most. There are still moments of wonder, even among the destruction. The art style, music and atmosphere work really well together to create a journey that is both heartbreaking and memorable. Endling isn't a game you play to have fun. It's a game you play to feel something.

When I bought this, I expected a cozy game where I'd just take care of some fox cubs in a world like our own. I never expected to be thrown into a dying world where, every couple of days, something else in the environment went to hell. Watching both the animals and the humans suffer is absolutely heartbreaking. The game is kind of short, but it is good.

I recommend this game but only because it’s beautiful in its own way, meaningful and it puts you back in reality really quick. Doesn’t mean I will ever forgive you.. sick bastards..

Vou te falar que é bem deprimente e sentimental pois às escolhas são pesadas e não pode voltar a trás, jogo não indica de como deve se compor e por isso deverá ser de seu próprio entendimento melhor para cada situação. Esteja preparado com um pano!

Eu simplesmente AMO demais esse jogo até porque eu amo animais também e mesmo que o final seja muito triste tem uma coisa que me faz gostar dele PARABÈNS aos criadores eu daria uma nota extremamente positiva e recomendo muito muito mesmo a única coisa que eu não gosto é obviamente dos humanos principalmente aqueles de máscara tirando isso eu adoro esse jogo tanto quanto meu pai gosta de videogames OBRIGADÌSSIMA até a próxima

My husband bought me this game because I love games about animals. It is 100% the saddest game I have ever played! Finding all the cub skills was more difficult than expected, but I loved the game play as it seemed to be very forgiving if you made any mistakes. The cinematic sequences were just beautiful and the environment and it's changes were amazing. Really makes you think about how we as humans treat the Earth and its creatures.

Очень трогательная игра про лисов. Одна из увлекательных игр, с необычным геймплеем и спокойной атмосферой. Сюжет мне понравился, взаимодействие с персонажами прикольное, игра будто и не нуждалась в словах, всё четко и понятно. Концовка очень трогательная. А задний фон всегда меняется и это реально круто. Для меня игра 10/10, я очень советую вам к прохождению.

E eu achando que seria apenas um jogo bonitinho de uma raposa cuidando dos seus filhotes... mas percebi que extinção é para sempre. Em Endling: Extinction is Forever, o jogo realmente transmite a responsabilidade de ser a última de sua espécie, criando seus filhotes em um mundo devastado pela ação humana. Porém, ele vai muito além de apenas sobreviver. A cada noite, sair da toca para procurar comida deixa de ser uma simples mecânica e se transforma em um ato de amor, sacrifício e esperança. O jogo mostra, sem precisar de muitos diálogos, o impacto do desmatamento, da poluição, da caça e da destruição da natureza. Tudo é contado através do ambiente, da trilha sonora e das expressões da raposa e de seus filhotes. Você sente o peso de cada decisão, porque qualquer erro pode custar uma vida. O mais impressionante é como Endling consegue prender o jogador de forma tão simples. Não existem mecânicas complexas nem combates grandiosos. Ainda assim, você se apega aos filhotes, aprende suas personalidades e passa a fazer de tudo para protegê-los. Quando algo acontece com eles, você fica realmente triste. É um daqueles jogos que fazem qualquer marmanjo chorar sem vergonha. Graficamente, o jogo é lindo. A direção de arte mistura beleza e tristeza em um mundo que está morrendo aos poucos. A trilha sonora acompanha cada momento com delicadeza, aumentando ainda mais a imersão e a carga emocional. No fim, Endling não é apenas um jogo sobre uma raposa. É uma experiência sobre maternidade, sobrevivência, amor e, principalmente, sobre as consequências das ações humanas na natureza. Ele nos lembra que, quando uma espécie desaparece, não existe segunda chance. Afinal, como o próprio título diz: a extinção é para sempre.
