About
All aboard the submarine! Shelldiver is an incremental game about a turtle fishing jellyfish and selling them at their little shop. Help our senior protagonist upgrade their equipment, explore various biomes and oceanic depths, and help out their local turtle population – maybe right after a well-deserved nap!
Your primary resource is jellyfish – the favorite meal of these turtles! With your handy bubble gun, you can chase and capture various unique types of jellyfish, each with their own unique spin – and taste, probably – then sell them at your little shop. Electric jellyfishes, mutant amalgamations, hellish jellies who explode when nearby – the more you collect, and the faster you do, the more money you get to invest back into your business!
On top of the gelatinous creatures, you will also have other types of resources floating about near the ocean floor to scrap for parts! Use your powerful laser blaster to take apart human trash, crystal rocks, mushrooms, and other distinct components, then use them to upgrade your submarine, tools and more.
The more you collect, progress and explore, the more opportunities you'll get to improve your skills. With a large branching skill tree, you can pick and choose your favorite perks and customize your future expeditions to maximize the things you want most – from your oxygen tank to the size of your shop!
The ocean is vast, and your clientele is demanding! Unlock and explore various unique biomes – from volcanic waters to crystalline caverns – as well as their varying depths and unique resources. Just don't forget to check your oxygen supply!

Another idle game where the title tells you basically everything you need to know. You're a turtle on an island, go diving in a mini submarine, and then collect materials and also bubble up sea life to sell for money, and as usual in these games, upgrade your skill tree. The game has 12 levels grouped into four themes, with 3 levels in each. Each new level represents a slight jump in difficulty, so you need to upgrade your material cracking and your sea life bubble guns a few times to get anywhere, but with each level the payout also rises massively. Like with most idle games, there's almost no difficulty. At best, you can run out of air, but that only means you lose a couple of resources or maybe not even that. I'm not too sure, as there's almost no penalty to losing air and you can start over again instantly. Like most of those games, it's all about perseverance to run the game loop multiple times and upgrade your skill tree until the game is finished. And like most idle games, you know what you're in for. It's about numbers going up, about playing without really getting challenged in any way or form. As relaxing as it can be, eventually it gets boring fast. For example, upgrading the skill tree is utterly brainless, since you never have to make a proper decision whether you take one over the other upgrade. You'll eventually get all of them, and in which order almost doesn't matter. In other games, there is usually a trade-off; often you just cannot max out skill trees, and you're not supposed to. Which makes you consider each option with care, reading what the description says about each upgrade and how it suits your playstyle. In an idle game, there eventually comes the point where I don't read the descriptions on a skill tree, since it doesn't really matter what they say. I don't want to put the game down or anything; for an idle game, it looks good, has a moderately fun gameplay loop, and doesn't outstay its welcome. It is exactly the game it says it is. No more, no less. Get it cheap, and you're entertained for a couple of hours if you like idle games.
Its a fun short little game with a bust of joy. The incremental part is fun to grind early on, albeit its getting easy towards the end. Music is joyful, art is pretty. Good fun little game. Thumbs up
Its short, but well worth the money.
Juego cortito, de 4 horas o menos, me lo pase una sola tarde. Por el precio que tiene, merece totalmente la pena.
Numbers went up.
