Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Welcome to 2045. The long struggle between people and corporations left the megacorps as overlords, ruling over the broken remnants of humanity huddled together in vast urban sprawls. But with no law or government beyond corporate boards, the underworld thrives. You are a Shell Runner using lifelike Shells to carry out wet work for anyone willing to pay.
Shell Runner is a top-down tactical shooter hybridized with looter shooter and extraction games. Every run can make you rich - but lose your Shell and you lose all that. Experience high-risk runs as a solo merc - or find allies and face the seedy underbelly of a dystopian future in cooperative mode.

Shells are remotely controlled bodies that blur the line between man and machine. Take control of one of over 20 Shells, from disposable everyman models for low-tier mercs to specialized high-tech Shells for corporate assassins and shock troops. But be careful: Lose a Shell on a mission and it's gone - together with all the gear, loot, and Silicon credits you managed to pilfer from other unfortunates living in the shadows of the corps.

Life's cheap and brutal in the sprawl. You're always outnumbered and outgunned and even a lowly thug can flatline your Shell in seconds if you don't play it smart. Plan ahead and outfit your Shell with an arsenal of melee weapons, firearms, and explosives. Fine-tune stats thanks to a multitude of modifiers. Then head in to complete your contract. Stay on your toes, plan your attack, and hit your targets where they least expect it.

No two runs are the same. Every mission is a procedurally-generated map, combining hand-crafted boss encounters with unpredictable randomness, ensuring no two runs are the same. Every Shell and item comes with random modifiers, meaning every contract is a risk - but also an opportunity. One job in the slums might leave you barely breaking even - the next one might make you break the bank. So get to work, Shell Runner, Silicon won’t earn itself!

Shell Runner: A Fun, Flawed Mini-Game Its a cool little game that's perfect for quick bursts of fun. The gameplay is simple yet engaging, and the levels are well-designed, offering a good challenge without being overly difficult. What Shell Runner Does Well: The core mechanics of running, shooting, and looting are easy to pick up but offer enough depth to keep you coming back for more. Well-Balanced Difficulty: The levels provide a good challenge without being frustratingly difficult. You'll feel a sense of accomplishment when you complete a level, but you won't be left feeling like you need to grind endlessly. Where Shell Runner Falls Short: Since the game is not yet 100% finished, will be the following points excused. Unfortunately, Shell Runner is still plagued by bugs and missing features. Key remapping is absent, sometimes weapons just disappear, you jump away from an opponent and you are suddenly stuck, and you can sometimes complete missions without actually performing the required tasks. These issues can be frustrating and detract from the overall experience. While the game offers a good amount of replayability, it could benefit from more content. Adding new maps designs or maybe less weapons or better considered weapon mechanics. Overall: Despite its flaws, Shell Runner is a fun and addictive mini-game that's worth checking out. If you're a fan of extraction shooters and enjoy quick bursts of action, then Shell Runner is definitely worth your time. However, be aware that the game is still in development and has a few bugs and missing features. If you're looking for a polished and complete experience, you might want to wait until the developers iron out these issues. Müsst ihr wissen.

Extraction shooter full of bugs. Said early access, but we expected the game to work & to be honest, the extraction aspect sucks when people crash & lose their stuff. Not for me, but maybe you’ll like making your day less enjoyable.
Awesome game!
Nice game to spend several hours. Lacks content, mechanics and variety. Shotguns are useless, since they can't oneshot targets on melee distance. Melee weapons gameplay almost dead because enemies with guns can always track your movements and if you tp through the wall to kill them, they immediately(without a slightest delay) start to shoot you. Upgrade resources could be unlimitedely obtained through the shop by completing item quests along with rerolls. Game needs a different mechanic for obtaining and upgrading shells, like special shop for rare resource exchange or shards idk. Enemies are kinda boring, and they are the same for every group(and I guess there is in fact no difference between them beside the quest name). Quest and rewards are illogical sometimes: quest *collect 2 pistols*, reward *2 pistols*, me *buys 2 pistols from the shop while wondering why my client couldn't do the same*. Also some quests just give you money and ammo as a reward, even ones with more stars. All guns are doing the same things, shoot. No effects other than critical hits. Maybe you can change random stats on guns and swords to modifications? Like modifications from mutant year zero. Better rarity guns might have more mod slots and mods would have fixed rarity where the best mods would have interesting effects like exploding bullets, bouncing projectiles, damage over time and etc. To make more content and varity it would be good to get crafting to get unusual items and event quests like special runs in Soul Knight (melee foes only, lots of chests, ambush, boss rush, time attack, double damage etc.) Also global illumination setting singlehandedly kills fps, and game gets too dark without it. In some places of the map smoke textures block vision. I don't recommend this game because I think it could be better. Thou I don't think it's good enough now.

The controls are a bit laggy on my machine. So I honestly don't know if it's the game or my laptop. The music is a bit annoying (cyberpunk 2077 type ♥♥♥♥ without much variety.....). Game play is kind of cool.. The camera gimmick barely help tbh... Yet it's still challenging.. Well it is in early access..
I want to get my initial thoughts out there on this game before i invest more time into it but for the time being I'm giving it a thumbs up to support the game getting a future, but it needs work and could just as easily get the thumbs down ***FOR THOSE ON THE FENCE*** Don't get this game unless it is the type of game you want to support, I have no clue who the developers are or what they are doing to make games but if that's something you care about like AI or bulk assets do your own digging, but this game feels like it was made with some extra tools or assets so i cant say for sure ******************************* To be fair i got the game when it was on sale for ~$9USD so I'm looking at the game through the lens of I just spent 10 bucks on this, what am i getting. To be honest so far I'm not impressed but also I see a vision here, the game has the bones of what a game like this needs but now we just need to wait for the meat. I've only made it through a few missions and haven't even hunted the first boss but I can already kinda tell the game play loop is gonna get real dry if I'm stuck shooting guns the entire time. Enemies either notice you too soon or you get shot a couple times for the effort even if you sneak around the corner. Idk i'll have more thoughts after playing a bit more
