OK shooter, but with many shortcomings and litte content. + Destructible environments + Auto reloading (optional) - Terrible movement system (teleport to predefined spots witch is hard to hit during combat) - Only two maps Overall: Meh
Early Access for ever. RIP you abandoned game you
It is like Die Hard,Matrix and Scarface all in one.Praise Jesus!
Really wanted to like this game. Loved how they simplified you having a bunch of guns and unlimited ammo - that felt great. However, I can't recommend it. No teleport to move. Has this way point finding that'll make you insta-puke. :(
i wonder did you develop this game thinking that you were in the matrix..... because the bugs are horrible... the smoke from, the guns get in the way of the aim you cant even see what you hitting.... and its so slow that the computer get off better shots than you do. Get it right man
Divertido simulador de combate, vale a pena jogar.
Loving this game. It's one of the few games that tricked me into trying to actually use a vr object support myself. Tried to put my hand on a wall the look around the corner to shoot and luckily didn't fall head first into my tv. Also briefly tried to put my gun on a nearby desk and luckily my controller landed on some thick carpet. The movement can be a little weird, but I like being able to switch positions and take cover. Some of the cover being destructible is a nice touch, the mall level is especially good at that with the stuff on the shelves. I like the weapons so far too, especially having both akimbo and one handed weapons. I'd love some more though, shotgun and semi-auto pistols maybe. It's also pretty tough, getting trough a level on medium is a challenge for me. Playing with the revolvers is tough too, I switch it down to easy to have fun with those. I can so vividly remember being in the hotel parking lot shooting out of the front office door holding it open with one revolver while I shot at people with the other... very good game.
Ever play Virtua-cop back in the day? This game is basically that, but in VR. I was afraid this game wasn't going to get anymore updates, but a big new one just dropped today, so hell yeah! ---------------------- 1 year update since my original review: I stopped playing for awhile to wait for more updates, and after coming back, it's like a whole new game! A ton of polish has been added, and this game is *clearly* a labor of love. Sooo many features have been improved and expanded upon - I love it! I'm definitely going to be dumping a bunch more time into this after the last updates. The destructible environments + improved bullet time are fantastic, and make everything feel like a cross between the Matrix lobby shootout + Virtua Cop.
Fast Action Hero can be summed up in one word: Boring. I went into this game with high hopes and was a bit disappointed with what the game is, at least at the moment. The title "Fast Action Hero" makes it seem like it's going to be an exciting fast-paced experience, having you shoot the hell out of enemies in heart-pounding gunfights, and to be fair, you do shoot the hell out of enemies, but it's no where near as exciting and heart-pounding as the title and description suggests. I played it for about ten to fifteen minutes, and that includes the time I spent in the training mode, which thankfully, didn't take very long to get through, as the game in general is very simplistic, which isn't a bad thing at all, I like simple shoot-em-ups, especially in virtual reality, but this just didn't do it for me. I wasn't expecting something really spectacular, as I'm sure the whole point of this game was to be very simple, point and shoot while sitting behind cover, often peeking out of cover and shooting when the enemies are exposed. Unfortunately, I found myself just crouching or sitting on my knees the entire time, rather than actually getting into and out of cover and running and dodging bullets on my way to a better vantage point behind maybe a desk or anything else that would provide decent protection against bullets. The hit detection for the player is a bit off. For example, you could see a bullet coming at you in slow motion and move out of the way of the bullet and clearly dodge it so it should miss, but it'll still hit you regardless of how far from the bullet you had moved. In order to get around the area, you need to teleport, that's perfectly fine, except that teleporting is very limited, only getting more available teleport positions after killing a certain amount of enemies. No big deal, right? Well, it can be a big deal when the only bit of cover you had has been completely destroyed by the enemies bullets, so now not only is that cover no longer available, but you can't get behind anything else until you've killed enough enemies, and at that point they're all shooting at you, hitting you with almost every bullet as you frantically try to kill them all to get another teleport point to progress. Hey, wait a minute, isn't there usually some badass music playing during big fight scenes in action movies? Well not in this action game, there's no music during fights at all, so you're stuck listening to the obnoxious sound of your controllers vibrating every time you fire a bullet, the sound of the bullets being fired from the guns, and the enemies bad voice acting while they awkwardly shout insults at you and threaten your life, over..and over..and over again...it's true torture. With all-around boring gameplay and lack of any music during gunfights to make it seem like an action movie, like the game likes to claim that it takes after, horrible cringy voice acting and the same few lines of dialogue being shouted over and over again every few seconds, I personally don't think that this games is worth the money, even at it's low base price of $11.99. I know it's in early access, but that doesn't mean the game shouldn't have basic things like music or more than four or five lines of dialogue, which isn't actually that bad, but it just makes it seem so bland and underwhelming. If you find this on sale for five bucks, then go right ahead and get it, because it's not a bad game, it's just lacking atmosphere and personality, which doesn't make it an exciting game you'll want to play for more than ten minutes. I give this game a: 4/10 This game isn't bad but it's very bare and feels just empty and underwhelming. I think the devs have something here, but it just isn't there yet, and probably won't be there very soon, but if they play their cards right with this, I think it could turn out just fine. Just wait a while before buying this game and see what the devs do with what they have here.
Excellent jeu.!!!!
