Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Welcome to 2045. The long struggle between people and corporations left the megacorps as overlords, ruling over the broken remnants of humanity huddled together in vast urban sprawls. But with no law or government beyond corporate boards, the underworld thrives. You are a Shell Runner using lifelike Shells to carry out wet work for anyone willing to pay.
Shell Runner is a top-down tactical shooter hybridized with looter shooter and extraction games. Every run can make you rich - but lose your Shell and you lose all that. Experience high-risk runs as a solo merc - or find allies and face the seedy underbelly of a dystopian future in cooperative mode.

Shells are remotely controlled bodies that blur the line between man and machine. Take control of one of over 20 Shells, from disposable everyman models for low-tier mercs to specialized high-tech Shells for corporate assassins and shock troops. But be careful: Lose a Shell on a mission and it's gone - together with all the gear, loot, and Silicon credits you managed to pilfer from other unfortunates living in the shadows of the corps.

Life's cheap and brutal in the sprawl. You're always outnumbered and outgunned and even a lowly thug can flatline your Shell in seconds if you don't play it smart. Plan ahead and outfit your Shell with an arsenal of melee weapons, firearms, and explosives. Fine-tune stats thanks to a multitude of modifiers. Then head in to complete your contract. Stay on your toes, plan your attack, and hit your targets where they least expect it.

No two runs are the same. Every mission is a procedurally-generated map, combining hand-crafted boss encounters with unpredictable randomness, ensuring no two runs are the same. Every Shell and item comes with random modifiers, meaning every contract is a risk - but also an opportunity. One job in the slums might leave you barely breaking even - the next one might make you break the bank. So get to work, Shell Runner, Silicon won’t earn itself!
Runs great on Steam Deck!
Shell Runner is a challenging top-down shooter set in a cyberpunk-style future, where you pilot replicants (shells) and complete contract crime missions—extraction, elimination, and more. There's a wide variety of gadgets, weapons, and skills to experiment with. While the game is challenging, it's also a lot of fun and well worth persevering past the first half hour or so. There's a steep initial learning curve, and unfortunately the tutorial doesn't do a great job of explaining everything. It gets SO much better. Once you get past that initial hurdle and start understanding the mechanics, there's a really satisfying game here.
Good idea but bad developpers and low investment sadly

A roguelite with no variety or progression and bad core gameplay. Generic samey weapons, no in-mission upgrades, annoying loot/crafting system, bad gunplay, no real progression, no variety from unlocks, all "upgrades" are minor stat boosts that do nothing to change how the game plays, buggy missions that frequently reward only partial or zero loot even on successful completion. Oh and if you die you lose everything you have equipped, including any persistent loot you've dumped time into farming and resources into upgrading. This is a really bad game.
has a few pretty bad bugs but the overall gameplay and progression is serviceable. the top down twin stick extraction shooter concept is cool.
It's like Synthetik, but with tedious inventory management.
I bought this on sale and can't wait to see how the developers fine tune this gem in the rough. I also only play with a gamepad. Fast negs/pos: No controller support - except for Legoshis' template = Thank you.! Currently the only way to functionally play on a gamepad. Buggy - updates often Hasn't quite bridged the gap in between kinetic and/or strategic game play - what's on offer is interesting Currently plays like Alien Breed, the aesthetic Neon chrome with the loot/extraction of the division. If you are a fan of any of these, I highly suggest this title. It's in early access and hope they continue into making great steps forward.
Addicting
My friend tried this game through Steam family sharing on my account so this is his review. Sadly made it much more palatable than it is. I will admit top-downs aren't usually my go to for games however I have started enjoying them a bit more. Visuals - 1 point The characters are expansive and impactful however the enemies are repetitive and after a few matches you seem to have seen all the variations available. The backgrounds are cyber-punkish and varied due to random map generation. Gameplay - 0.5 point It is simple to learn but after a few maps it blends sadly. The variety is limited, yes you do have different weapons but the use of them is very simple Replay ability - 1 point It comes down to collecting the shells and improving your build, but it is limited. Story - 0 points Can't say there was even one. Depth of Gameplay - .5 point This is a compound rating including the story, gameplay and parts of what to me makes this game. They were all lackluster, I would say while it has some depth, it does not have enough to overcome the glaring issues. A lack of story, a lack of variety to the play. I played for 3 hours and got 1/3 of the achievements. There were some I should have gotten but they did not trigger. Overall out of a total score of 5 the game gets, 3 points max. Would I recommend this game? Only if it was 5 - 7 dollars or less, it pains me to say it but it failed to be anything special or worthy of recommendation. It has potential but they would need a few more bosses and maps to make it even go up at least a few dollars in worth.
1.0 review : still a big NO. not even fun to play. feel like the devs took the money, push an half-baked clunky 1.0 and run away with the cash.
Pretty Nice game as a rogue like and fun to play around with in terms of weapons and mods
