About
Shape of Dreams is an action roguelite that combines hack-and-slash combat, MOBA-style team play, and strategic choices.
Journey through ever-changing worlds, from scorching lava fields and blizzard mountains to starry cosmos.
Dodge waves of enemies, land precise skill shots, and overcome each battle with quick decisions.
Play solo for a tense, skill-based challenge, or team up in up to 4-player co-op, where different combat styles come together to create powerful synergies.
Combine ever-changing skills and upgrades to carve your own path of progression, and challenge the dream world in a new way with every run.
No two challenges are the same, and no fixed build or strategy will always carry you to victory.

From swift close-range assaults and precise skill shots to wide-area attacks and supportive playstyles,
each Traveler approaches combat in a different way.
Build around your chosen Traveler’s combat style and face enemies in a new way with every run.

When playing solo, dodge incoming attacks, land your skills with precision, and shape your build through your own decisions.
In up to 4-player co-op, combat becomes even more dynamic.
When different Travelers’ abilities and builds come together, powerful combinations and explosive synergies emerge—ones that could never be created alone.

Use ever-changing choices to alter your attacks, enhance your abilities, and discover unexpected combinations.
Even with the same Traveler, the build you create can lead to a completely different combat style.
There is no single answer.
Build your strategy from the choices presented in each run, and take on challenges that may seem impossible.

The dream world is full of changing variables.
Four difficulty levels, distinctive boss encounters, and Lucid Dream modifiers demand different tactics and build choices with every run.
Rather than following the same familiar path, try new combinations that adapt to each changing situation.
The more you play, the more powerful strategies you will discover as you break through the dream world in your own way.
The dream awaits.

My journey to Shape of Dreams came from 10 straight losses in League of Legends due to AFKs and 0/9 bot lanes, then from dying to Lilith 30 times in a row in Diablo 4 on torment 8 when my character was easily clearing content on torment 10. I just needed something else. Something that was less frustrating and more rewarding. So far, this game is it. It really scratches that ARPG/MOBA itch, but is actually fun and not just a grind. It has started to feel grindy a few times, but then I unlock some new ability and a whole new world opens up. So it's keeping me interested and engaged so far, and I only have 3 characters unlocked! I've only played solo so far, but man this would be a blast playing co-op. Really enjoying it!

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My game of the year! Simply loved it! The characters are fun, the maps and bosses are interesting as well as the mysteries. Played both solo and co-op, and I'm having a blast!

5.5/10
Absolutely love it, I wishlisted it forever ago, saw a post of the lizard man and just bought it (congrats your scalie bait worked) But its an extremely solid game, this is top down risk of rain. with the same level of "How badly can i break the game" as Risk of Rain. To prove that, You can OVERLAP CRIT RATE. Crit rate goes past 100%? now you have 20% chance of triple, further? now you can do Quadruple damage. My first run I lowered the cooldown of a turret spawn enough to have a screen full of them, that life steals, AoE explodes, and Buffs.
The skill system is similar to PoE where you have your main active skills and then slots for modifiers that can have effects like "reduce the equipped skill's cooldown by x% when you deal light damage", "deal an extra hit when you deal fire damage", "convert your shields to heals", etc. Each character has some kind of dodge roll which the bosses and enemies increasingly require you to manage and use correctly as you get deeper into your run. There are also very strong defensive skills that you can lean on if you're bad at dodging though. Overall the game is a very fun mix of action roguelite gameplay and ARPG style buildcrafting.
This game is very refined for a Roguelike that joined a bit later on in the genre. A lot of times when you buy them, they're just a skin of something you've already played, but this one feels like it is truly its own game. It stands out enough in terms of offering a refreshing experience. I like how the combat is like your typical ARPG (Diablo, Path of Exile, etc.), except you don't have to grind for days to have some crazy build going. Sure, you lose it, but each playthrough makes the experience easier as you unlock everything, and you get better at getting these builds rolling the more you play. The classes are also all really unique, and I like Vesper the most so far. He's a Paladin archetype, and his attacks are real crisp and bursty when you're smacking the brains out of the monsters in your path. Definitely grab this if you like roguelikes. I'm sure it's even more fun with friends too.
One of the coolest, fastest, most beautiful, combat-satisfying, build-satisfying, and creative roguelikes out there. Shape of Dreams is an absolute blast to play.
