So first let me start off by saying this review is primarily about my experience playing this game on my Bazzite/ Linux machine. I quite enjoyed the gameplay, story and feel like this was an excellent conclusion to the Survivor Trilogy of games. It's unfortunate that playing through this on Linux kind of marred my overall experience in a few ways. Now to what happened. I started this game on the free copy I had from the Epic Store, which is the Windows version running with Proton and it played perfectly for quite a while. I was running in 4K, HDR, 240hz mostly maxed out settings and the game looked fantastic. Just about the point where I reached the hidden city portion of the game, things started to go awry. I started getting crashes at certain points, broken side quests, missing NPCs, all sorts of stuff. After reading some posts online I decided to grab the game on Steam while it was on the Summer Sale and move my save over to run in the native Linux version on Steam. That worked great for quite a while and then again different crashes started popping up there too. So it became this dance of, get as far as I could in one version until I hit a blocker, move my save to the other version and progress forward, repeat. There was a Challenge Tomb late in the game I thought I had gotten truly stuck in both versions, until I read about some folks turning all their settings, resolution and refresh rate down to low. I followed their suggestions and was barely able to make it through that section. I did finally hit credits and overall I really enjoyed the game part of it, but I wish I had played it on my PS5 instead. I don't know for sure how many bugs I encountered were unique to my Bazzite/Linux setup or if just the overall PC version is just super buggy, but I certainly can't recommend it to anyone trying to play it on a similar setup to mine. Just wanted to share my experience for those it might be relevant to.
That a fantastic game ,this my is second game on steam, it artistic style and storyline include many side quest .If max score is ten ,I would give it eight and a half points.
Fantastic game and definitely recommend it. It's got a great story line, Graphics and scenery is not only beautiful but also very immersive with a lot to do, collect and deepen into the lore. Really enjoyed it and would suggest playing back to back with Rise of The Tomb Raider to have a good flow of the overall story line. Really loved both!
