Reviews
The game feels like it still belongs in early access. It has a lot of potential, but it's not worth the price in its current state.
局外的符文能力居然和局内的一样,合成更是屎一样的随机。局外提升无论是广度还是深度都不行。
It's pretty good, worth the low price mark. Not a phenomenal game and despite low intensity graphics, when you have a lot of special effects on-going, it lags like crazy (at least on the mage character) which made me not want to insist on the highest difficulty levels. Otherwise quite a fun time. Wont last you a whole year but between 10-25 hours depending if you want to finish on all lthe chracters and difficulty levels.

OMG LOVE! As a huge fan of the original rogue/net hack/moria games, this game is an amazing evolution of them... I just wish it wasn't so short... It would be absolutely epic if it just kept going deeper and deeper into the dungeon with more monsters/treasure/loot... No end... How far/deep can you go??? Would be amazing...
An Underrated Top-Down Hack 'n' Slash Gem That Deserves Better
If you're a fan of top-down action roguelites like Demon Slayer: Raksasi or Hades, Shadow of the Depth is an absolute blast that delivers fast, responsive, and satisfying combat.
Why it's worth playing:

Rhythmic & Tactical Combat: This isn't just a mindless button-masher. Executing attacks with slight pauses opens up entirely different combos, heavy finishers, and special attacks.
5 Great Playstyles: You get five distinct characters (Arthur the shield knight, Arya the dual-dagger assassin, Stephanie the elemental sorceress, Phyllis the hunter with animal summons, and Ginzo the samurai). They all play completely differently and keep runs fresh.
Satisfying Progression: Great meta-progression systems, secondary weapon unlocks, rune builds, and dynamic lighting paired with awesome hand-painted art.

⚠️ Addressing the "Mixed" Reviews (PLEASE READ):
If you look at the recent user reviews and see a "Mixed" score, don't let that scare you off. The lower rating has almost nothing to do with the quality of the gameplay itself.
What actually happened: A lot of people originally gave this game glowing positive reviews during Early Access. However, once the developers completed their development roadmap and shipped the official 1.0 full release, many users flipped their reviews from positive to negative simply because the game is finished and won't be receiving endless live-service style updates forever.
It makes no sense to punish a full, feature-complete single-player roguelite just because it reached its planned final state rather than staying in perpetual Early Access.
Final Thoughts:
Shadow of the Depth offers tight controls, great enemy/character variety, and awesome hack 'n' slash action at a very fair price point. Ignore the review-bombing over its completed status—it's a great game and well worth picking up!
I’m really enjoying this game so far. The combat is satisfying and impactful, there are a ton of unique and fun build options for each character, and the game looks and runs great. I’m a big fan of top down or isometric rogue likes, and this is one of my favorites in recent memory.
it was a good game, but I didn't see any future potential
The skills seems very uninspired, the game feels good for a couple of hours but it has no legs.
awesome game
