Meaning that if you didn't make a Nova World account back in the day this game is COMPLETELY USELESS to you. If you wish to experience the latest Nova Logic experience from back in the 2000s, get yourself Delta Force black hawk down and it's expansion.

This game is a fraud. Creating a MP-Account isn't possible anymore except you like a virus from Novaworld. Steam should delete this games from his platform.

It is a multiplayer-focused military tactical shooter that is a mix of [b]Delta Force[/b] + [b]Comanche[/b] + [b]Armored Fist[/b]. It was one of the 1st [b]Battlefield's[/b] rivals back in the 2000's. Despite being focused on multiplayer which is the real experience of the game, it has a single player mode that is just like a traditional [b]Delta Force[/b] but you're able to use vehicles, aircrafts, and ships. To play it online officially you must have an account on [b]Novaworld[/b] (Novalogic's online platform), but the real problem with it is: [u]IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO CREATE NEW ACCOUNTS NOWADAYS, AND [b]THQ NORDIC[/b] and [b]EMBRACER GROUP[/b] (current owners of most of Novalogic's IPs) don't want to fix it, preventing new people to be able to play it which is a big shame[/u], but don't worry because there are a pair of alternative ways to play this game online nowadays: 1): You can replace the Novaworld lobby with [b]NovaHQ Heartbeat[/b]. There are few servers available on NHQ Lobby but I'll try to contact the server owners to use it. Go check NovaHQ website to find NHQ Heartbeat. 2): You can play the [b]Anniversary Revival Project[/b] which uses a very different alternative online platform, and the [b]Tactical Assault Coalition[/b] which is a [u]VERY GREAT MOD[/u] that modernizes the game by adding custom models with new animations, new sfx, improved stats for the weapons and vehicles, etc. This mod is the most notorious Revival Project's exclusive feature. In brief: [b]DON'T BUY THIS GAME UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE A NOVAWORLD ACCOUNT AND STILL ABLE TO LOG IN, OTHERWISE REPLACE THE NW LOBBY WITH NHQ HEARTBEAT, OR PLAY THE REVIVAL PROJECT[/b]. this game deserves a remaster

I played this game when I was a little kid. Absolutely mind blowing for it's time in my opinion. Better than BF 1942 and some attributes even better than BF2. The 150 man servers were insanity. I saw some modded ones going up to 250. All of this on a game engine from 2004!

Do not buy unless you know your Novaworld account details from the 2000's. New accounts cannot be created, as whichever company owns this game now appear to be sunsetting the online side of this (the only reason to play is for online). Otherwise, an absolutely brilliant multiplayer online FPS, even to this day. There are still quite a few players on at peak times.

I can't believe this game still works on my PC and there are still players out there. Not a lot, but still there! Played it again in Sept. 2024 after having not played it since 2014! Lol! I had forgotten how much I enjoy it - the physics and graphics are terrible by todays standards, but still very playable. I had a blast and coming back for more. Gamivo.com has a code for this so if you are interested but don't want to pay the ridiculously high price here on Steam for a game of this age, pay $6-ish dollars instead and have some old-school 90's fun! Sad that this game was never continued. It was way ahead of it's time back in the day.

This game is much better than you would think at first glance, Really give it a try and make sure you go into Game.cfg in the games folder and setup your monitors resolution. It supports even 4k. Set video_res - Resolution of your monitor lock_framerate 0 - So you are not limited to 60fps windowed 1 - This will likely allow your monitors refresh rate aswell While there could be more players playing it, COOP is really where the game shines. Some cool things about this game is that you can stand on top of any vehicle and you will not bounce off or rubber band away. You can even accurately fire a sniper rifle crouching from the open door of a flying black hawk or from a rubber boat. You can also load up a car in a chinook helicopter just like the trailer. The programmers of this game were not noobs, they knew what they were doing and they made an amazing game. Whats bad is that the novalogic website seems to be bugged and you cant create online accounts easy. I have my old account maybe you can find an account online and then you can login and play internet multiplayer. Otherwise this is a sick game to LAN with your friends or simply play the campaign on your own. I really recommend this game anyway. Top quality along with the other novalogic games, maybe even the best game they ever made.
