Secret of Mana

It's an okay game, the remake does not add anything special to the experience, if anything it gives it a more childish appearance and tone. The story pacing is nothing special as it was originally, once again not bad, but if the original is available choose that over this slightly buggy mess on pc. Playing the game on PC with controller absolutely requires a non-default steam input profile to play remotely properly.

Although this is a remake of a classic, it is riddled with bugs. Tried to fix them for too long and now I can't get a refund.

Ich liebe das Spiel! Hatte es auf Super Nintendo. Kann nur empfählen.

Really buggy. Game crashed at initial title screen, then again in the village.

The game plays the same as the original but much more smoother and more improved than the original. Although the music doesn't hit home, I am happy I can switch to the original score. In the end I had lots of fun with voice acting included even if they are not that great but the main characters did most the work so I give that a pass on my book.

8/10 - Great for what it is. Did you expect a fully fledged remake? You're in for some disappointment, my friend. Do you just want a well-made 1:1 remaster? You can't really ask for more than this.
