Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 4.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
As the once-great Roman Empire falls into decadence and decay, you lead a small band of citizens in search of new lands hoping to build Nova Roma – a bastion for all that was once good in the Empire. Starting from a humble village, you must appease the gods with grand temples, sate your citizens’ many needs, and build a society that will be the envy of the world for millennia to come.

A wise city planner knows how to harness the world around them. Erect massive dams and aqueducts to control the flow of water as you reshape the land into artificial watersheds and reservoirs, paying close attention to how your actions impact soil fertility, or how a particularly rainy season might flood your city. Seek distant resource deposits and build infrastructure to transport raw materials and processed goods across massive stretches of untamed territory. Will you strike a delicate balance between the growing urban sprawl of your city and the risks of rapid expansion? Or will your hubris risk the wrath of the gods and nature itself?

Contend with a growing list of needs and desires as more people flock to your city – from pottery and wine to bread and games, it is your responsibility to keep the people happy and safe. Watch them grow into artisans, gladiators and thespians, and guide them through life as they spend their days toiling, and their nights enjoying the fruits of their labor.

As you consider matters of taxation and technological advancement, do not forget the powers that stand above you - build grand temples to the gods, avoiding their wrath and seeking their blessings to bolster your capabilities and ensure the continued prosperity of Nova Roma.
Featuring intricate water and weather simulations and the ever-present threat of divine intervention, Nova Roma explores the cultural, and social trials of the era. Take charge of your small Roman town and grow it into a bustling metropolis that will stand the test of time!

Building towns is fun but i didn't enjoy all the gods stuff, just got annoying after a while. I know these guys made Kingdoms and Castles though so I have high hopes for the future of this game.
Good game, I've done about 6 playthroughs now and bit repetitive now. Waiting for new updates!
Great sequel to Kingdom and Castle, just need to add back the workshop because all of the basic buildings that are available get tired after a while.
Simple city-builder with increasingly satisfying depth! You expand and unlock at your own pace, with the game careful to not suddenly increase complexity or urgency. Your pace is nudged along by occasional barbarian raids, but they are a reason to prepare rather than a punishment for existing. Don't let the water systems and terraforming paralyze you! If they seem too daunting, just put water in the water tower and enjoy the architecture. If you're like me, however, enjoy digging canals around your city and farmland! Here's a tip: flowing water increases nearby soil fertility, nicely boosting fields. Also, your soldiers drown in water, so be careful with their pathing... I've lost so many men to my own canals...
Make a macro war map zoom so invasions are less searching around to find ones own army. Make rebuilt structures have the same settings on the locked inventory prior to destruction. Make hubs show how many wagons are assigned. Bump thread if agreed
I really loved k&c but i miss the the rivaling kingdoms, it becomes a bit repetitive without them
the people need to stop complaining about their commute times if they also refuse to move. also they need to stop casually drowning next to bridges by wading through the water back and forth. but why when housing is available next to their employment, they still complain about travel distance on stone roads across 7 tiles distance. also the stone bridge is always high on one end. AWESOME GAME THOUGH........ just needs work.....
This title remains in early access development, with the advancement system still largely restricted. The divine relationship mechanics exhibit a notable lack of consistency, as deity anger triggers appear to lack clear, logical progression patterns. Furthermore, the quest objectives required to appease various deities often lack meaningful differentiation, creating repetitive gameplay elements. The advancement tree's unlock mechanisms demonstrate a critical dependency on early-game temple construction. Building religious structures for each deity during the initial game play phases proves essential for accessing subsequent progression content, suggesting that the game's core narrative and mechanical systems are heavily intertwined with early divine worship mechanics. Recommendation The development team should consider implementing more varied and logically consistent divine interaction systems, while providing clearer guidance on the strategic importance of early religious infrastructure for progression unlocking.
