I know this is in Early Access and not yet a complete game but after checking it out and doing some research I doubt this will go in the right direction. It's a shame as I quite like the idea of a RPG set in ancient Egypt. The game's foundation is the RPG Builder asset pack/template by Blink. This is also the reason anything works at all as it looks like the developer of this game barely added 10 lines of code himself. What he did do, however, is reskin the asset pack to match the egyptian style and of course this is also done via an asset pack, namely Ancient Egypt GUI by Poneti. And there's more - way more. Most - if not all - art you see is from asset packs, the animations from Mixamo and so on. I have absolutely no problem with solo or indie devs using third-party visual/audio assets - that's fine. It's also okay to use assets like Jupiter (for procedural skies) or Aura (for volumetric lightning and fog). Hell, it's all good to use RPG Builder as a foundation, as long as you improve upon it and not just modify a bit of data and call it a day. Unfortunately for anyone wanting to adventure in ancient Egypt that's exactly what the developer did. Even if you ignore the horrible animations, incoherent art style, badly balanced audio and extremely clunky combat system - and that's already a tall order - there's just nothing there. The quests are bog-standard MMO fare - kill x, fetch y, go there. They don't tell a story and could have taken place anywhere - Egypt, Valhalla, Azeroth, you name it. The world building is just copy&paste assets all over the place - not terrible, but pretty uninspired. This isn't your typical asset flip as the developer did at least some work on the game. And yes, the game isn't done yet. Still, as they ask money for it one should be able to expect more than a template reskin with some ancient egypt assets slapped on. As it stands now, I can only recommend to avoid this game. If it improves in the future, I might reconsider my review. [b]Bilen bilir, elimden geldiğimce her küçük yapımcıyı savunur, gelişir düzeltilir derim. It is fairly impressive for what is clearly a low budget effort. There are several locations, a dialogue tree system and some very basic classes. The physical environment looks pretty good but has that low budget look. I would give this a thumbs up except for two things: It costs too much. 18.49 NZD is like, single A game price. This is not polished enough to charge this much. The quest line doesn't trigger properly so I couldn't progress the story. Combat is very simplistic and not particularly fun or rewarding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAfKUyTe9N4
Tavsiye edilir.
