the original version was good but this remastered one is even better especially with the workshop that makes more periods available to play and with some mods that make the combat overall more realistic regarding weapon ranges and casualty rates. I like the Sandbox mode particularly that plays as an operational grand tactical scale game like the ESR miniatures game. This mode the game all plays on a battlefield but the scale can be up to 10 mi x 10 miles depending the map and so there is a good emphasis on using roads, scouts and cavalry screens etc.
Amazing game, much better than Napoleon total war if u have a team to play it, AI is really smart but still not better than human.
Worked fine, for a little while. Then, keeps crashing. Now, won't even open!
An incredible game, easily the best depiction of Napoleonic warfare in Video Games. Devs are very responsive; constantly making requested QoL changes and catching bugs. An easy recommendation if you have the time and patience to learn.
The Napoleonic wargame of my dreams. Thanks, Norb.
Best Napoleonic era RTS war sim ever, bar-none.
cool napoleonic game
Carrying out basic tasks such as moving a brigade involve click dance and even then the units still behave like s***t. Line of sight is out of whack; artillery fires till the last moment and then limbering at warp speed to avoid charge. They have the gall to ask money for this?? Way way way worse than WNLB and ANGV, the games it intends to succeed, (which are still perfectly enjoyable btw). Unworthy of lowest form of crap imaginable! Until there are mods that could sort out the countless lunacy they got in this thing ( which I doubt will ever happen whilst humans still walk this earth!!) THIS GAME SUCKS, SUCKS and SUCKS!!!
Give me Blucher or give me night! Joking of course, I would never play as the English.
Text so small cant read most of it
