Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

William is a young writer in search of his first literary success. He travels to a distant abbey, shrouded in a vow of silence. Among thick stone walls and unspoken secrets, William slowly immerses himself into the life of the abbey and its silent inhabitants.
What begins as a search for inspiration soon turns mysterious, leading William to uncover not just a story to tell, but a secret that was never meant to be discovered.

Scholar Adventure: Mystery of Silence is a classic 90s-style point & click adventure featuring dark, detailed pixel art, environmental puzzles, and a deep narrative with touches of black humor.
Explore the abbey, solve mysteries using the items you find along the way, and uncover the secrets hidden within its silent walls.

Mystery of Silence is the first game in the Scholar Adventure saga, created and developed solo by Ayose Trujillo, with music and sound design by Antonio Vozmediano.
With an approximate playtime of 2 to 3 hours, the game is a tribute to classic adventure games, where the experience lies in exploring, discovering, and solving puzzles as you put your logic to the test.
The game was developed using PowerQuest, by Powerhoof.

Great little retro adventure game. Interesting and original story, challenging puzzles, good animation for the genre. Gameplay is decent though a bit too linear at times (e.g., some puzzles are unsolvable until after you have visited certain rooms or spoken to certain characters, despite having all the objects/information you need to solve the puzzles). There are also some pixel-finder puzzles, but that is a common pitfall of the retro style. This game is not terribly long--it took me less than 2 hours to play. Overall, I recommend this game for fans of retro, indie games.

Really great compact point & click adventure. Interesting story that holds your attention and satisfying puzzles that stay solvable throughout without getting repetitive. I find a lot of horror point & clicks can get a bit self-serious so I loved the way this one offset the gothic tone with humour, while still keeping some creepy atmosphere with the art and music. Definitely a stand-out among small indie games like this.
Fans of The Last Door will definitely love this atmospheric little mystery. Clearly made by someone with a deep love for the Gothic and Romantic literature. Puzzles are generally well thought out (though at the mid-point of the game a couple of them start relying on exploring absolutely everywhere on the map, even if there isn't a clear logical reason for you to go there,) and there's even some quirky humour in there. I would absolutely love a longer, more complex sequel.
Compelling story, great atmosphere, nice visuals and music. Highly recommended.
