Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

William is a young writer in search of his first literary success. He travels to a distant abbey, shrouded in a vow of silence. Among thick stone walls and unspoken secrets, William slowly immerses himself into the life of the abbey and its silent inhabitants.
What begins as a search for inspiration soon turns mysterious, leading William to uncover not just a story to tell, but a secret that was never meant to be discovered.

Scholar Adventure: Mystery of Silence is a classic 90s-style point & click adventure featuring dark, detailed pixel art, environmental puzzles, and a deep narrative with touches of black humor.
Explore the abbey, solve mysteries using the items you find along the way, and uncover the secrets hidden within its silent walls.

Mystery of Silence is the first game in the Scholar Adventure saga, created and developed solo by Ayose Trujillo, with music and sound design by Antonio Vozmediano.
With an approximate playtime of 2 to 3 hours, the game is a tribute to classic adventure games, where the experience lies in exploring, discovering, and solving puzzles as you put your logic to the test.
The game was developed using PowerQuest, by Powerhoof.

Reviews
A short but solid point+click experience. There were a couple of places where I got stumped for a bit, which I appreciated. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the game but wish there was more narrative to discover throughout the course of the game.
A short but mysterious point and click game with wonderful art and an intriguing atmosphere. I found some of the puzzles a little unintuitive, with interaction prompts highlighting some spots but missing from others. But mostly the puzzles were fair and enjoyable. The story was more of an interesting occult setting than a fully fleshed out plot, but I didn't mind that simply because I did enjoy the art and the setting. I suppose there are longer games of this ilk with a better structured plot, but this was still worth my time and I look forward to seeing what the developer comes up with in the future.

I really enjoyed it, and as someone who doesn't play game very often, I loved the experience. The length - similir to whatching a movie- is perfect for an afternoon. William is a very special and charming character. I highly recommend it.
Aventura como las de antes, con dos finales, alternativos. Quizás la letra que se utiliza es poco legible, mejor otro tipo más clara para la próxima aventura. Al final del juego nos dice de ir a una nueva aventura, nos espera secuela.
A modern take on classic point n click mystery games. Use your smooth brain to find the answers to the silent island's puzzles. The puzzles were a nice mix of blatantly obvious and brain stumping. The presentation is great and really does a good job at certain moments doing some creative things with the perspective of the camera. I recommend this if you want to be shrouded in mystery and silence.
I really liked this game — it’s short but very intense. While playing, the atmosphere and the music completely draw you in. William is a funny and special character, and I’d love to play again with him in future adventures. I 100% recommend this game.
could have a more elaborate gameplay, puzzle structure etc but amazing for a single dev
A very complete game, very entertained with puzzles, riddles, etc. The design is very cute with a touch that bring back memories from oldest games like Monkey Island. It keeps you hooked on the story and the soundtrack is very beautiful. I really recommend this game!
