Really nice.
As much as I wanted to enjoy this game at my own pace, because during the time I was playing, I was very busy. But, despite all of that, I love the story and its character, I love the gameplay despite all of that. While I can't exactly say its a perfect game, I believe a lot of people might enjoy it. While the story is a bit weird and imperfect. From being a cadet at a millitary school
to finding out how corrupted the government of said school, to finding some weird conspiracy stuffs about the moon and its people... Some kind of weird revenge plot, dedication, time traveling, and...

Somehow weird none blood related sibling relationship with the 2 protagonists in the middle of the game and making us like... shipping them in the early game?!?!?
Despite that, I love this game. 7.5/10

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 21 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Opposed Viewpoint
I do enjoy this game and if you're looking for an action game with an ensemble cast that's not as campy as Devil May Cry or Bayonetta, it's a good pick. In reality, I think I would recommend it with 3/5 stars if steam would let me do that. However, I felt I should give it a thumbs down to get the message to the developers and publishers. The story segments of this game are very ugly, and I think that was both really unwise of the developers and very disrespectful to players. This game has a lot of story. You might log in, do 5 minutes of fighting, and then engage with 15 minutes of story content. The story content is a huge chunk of your playtime. It's a video game. I would think the easiest way for them to do it would be, just show the characters standing in the setting, and then have the voice lines. You wouldn't even need to animate their mouths if you don't want to. That would be nice because there would be some movement - hair and clothes blowing, cars driving, may a flag blowing or some rain falling or a defeated monster twitching. The wonderful thing about games is it's a great medium for that. But they don't do that. They opt for "photo" style shots where they posed the characters in a still shot and you just look at the photo. Ok. Not really a disaster, yet. This can be nice because the developers don't have to expend the resources of a full animation, but they can still be expressive. But then they ruin this. They put this pictures in a screen much tinier than your actual computer screen, for no reason. This is disorienting and if you have a medium screen, congrats now you have a small screen. On top of that, they overlay on top of this pictures (of the same characters in the photos!) staring blankly with their mouths moving. These ugly pictures, which are not in the actual situations the characters are in, cover the still photos completely. If you're trying to enjoy the story by listening to the dialogue and looking at the pictures, you're screwed. It's extremely ugly, takes you out of the experience. They clearly knew it was awful because this barely shows up in the advertising. It's crazy because there are lots of routes that would have been less work and looked 1000x better. They didn't have to reinvent the wheel. They decided to replace working solutions with something that looks awful. It really hurts the game because it destroys immersion. And it's so unnecessary. It's like the game was made in 1992. It's the worst. And it's bad because this story content is a huge percentage of the game overall. It's awful because they could have made it so much better, just by removing a couple simple things - take out the blank talking faces that cover up your own still shots, and put the picture on the whole screen. It's really disrespectful to the players to keep something so bad and so unnecessary in the game. Rest of the game: Pros: - good action - great music - good enough enemies and bosses - powers are cool and fun - 8 side characters with personalities, support conversations, and cool powers that help you in battle - I think it's really cool that they tried to make and partly succeeded at making an anime ensemble cast action game - I love that they just straight up give you two main characters to choose from. I got to pick the one I liked which I think improved my experience a lot - I really liked the simplicity of the shop - I don't need or want complex shops. It was nice to not have to have analysis paralysis at every shop, since they never had useless items to consider Mid: - the character Shiden is kinda shallow and annoying. People play games for fun, so why would you make an annoying person in entertainment - the plot is kinda fun and twisty, but it's also kinda all over the place and hard to follow - they want you to play the game twice (with both main characters) to get the whole story. Personally, I prefer shorter content with more care put into each moment, rather than drawn out content that has the care more thinly spread Bad: - level/world design is bland, although this game doesn't really need that - the enemies get repetitive - the story dialogue chunks are a huge part of the game and pull you out of the joy that you get from the rest
Animation Priority: The Video Game! I hope you pressed dodge 90 seconds ago, otherwise eat crap!! Horrendously overrated tripe. Utter trash at every turn.
