About
Scag wants into your desktop, so let her in!
Scag can't give you the world, but she can get pretty close (Probably). The way she'll do this is by bumming out on your desktop! Let her walk around and hang out on your computer screen.
Use her Clock app (It comes with multiple functionalities)
The Alarm functionality allows you to set alarms for ANY DURATION YOU'D LIKE.
The Stopwatch functionality allows you to time anything you'd like by manually stopping and starting the timer.
Pomodoro clock: A pomodoro clock is a clock that helps increase productivity via the "Pomodoro Technique." This technique is said to decrease the amount of mental interruptions by giving the user stimuli to associate with working and taking a break. The timer will start with 25 minutes of work, then 5 minutes for a short break. This loop will repeat four times and on the fifth time will increase the break to 30 minutes. Apparently this helps with productivity so we wanted scag to have an app for it.

ScagJPT cured my terminal cancer, shout out to Anaiyah
ScagJPT is an unconventional desktop companion experience that blends playful character interaction with a small collection of practical utilities. Instead of following the familiar structure of missions, levels, combat, or story progression, it places an animated character directly into the user's desktop environment. Developed and published by The Axolotl Sun, the software is designed primarily for people who enjoy virtual companions, novelty desktop applications, and lightweight programs that can remain active while they work, study, browse, or watch other content. The main attraction is Scag herself. Rather than remaining trapped inside a traditional game window, she can wander around the desktop and provide a little activity in the background. Players can interact with her in deliberately silly ways, including greeting her, moving or throwing her around the screen, and punching her. None of these mechanics are particularly complex, but complexity is not the objective. They give the character a more tangible presence and turn ScagJPT into something closer to an interactive desktop toy than a conventional game. Its usefulness extends beyond character interaction through several integrated time-management tools. The clock functionality includes alarms, while a stopwatch provides a convenient way to measure activities without opening another program. More significantly, the inclusion of a Pomodoro timer gives ScagJPT some legitimate productivity value. Someone studying, writing, programming, or completing office work can keep the companion running while using timed work and rest intervals. This is a clever match for the concept because the application is intended to coexist with other desktop activities rather than monopolize the screen. Image and GIF functionality further expands what Scag can do and gives users additional reasons to interact with the application. These media features complement the colorful and humorous presentation, helping the companion feel more like a customizable part of the desktop rather than a static animated decoration. The 2.5D visual approach also gives Scag a distinctive appearance against ordinary windows and applications. The presentation is intentionally lighthearted, and the personality of the character is arguably more important than graphical complexity. The experience does have clear limitations. There is little here for players looking for traditional progression, challenging mechanics, exploration, combat, or an elaborate narrative. Individual interactions are simple and may become repetitive once their novelty wears off. ScagJPT therefore makes the most sense as background entertainment rather than something designed for hours of concentrated play. Its value depends heavily on whether the player likes the idea of keeping a digital character around during normal computer use. That passive design can actually be one of its strengths. Many games constantly demand attention, whereas ScagJPT is comfortable being ignored for stretches of time. You can start a timer, allow Scag to wander around, occasionally interact with her, and continue working in another application. This creates an appealing balance between entertainment and utility. The software can add personality to a desktop without necessarily becoming another major distraction, particularly when its productivity features are being used. There is also considerable room for the concept to grow. Additional character reactions, customization options, interactive activities, utilities, animations, and desktop behaviors could significantly improve long-term variety. The existing foundation already demonstrates how a desktop companion can combine amusing interactions with genuinely useful tools. Steam Cloud support is another welcome convenience, especially for users who regularly move between compatible systems. Steam Deck compatibility requires an important distinction. ScagJPT supports SteamOS/Linux, but its design is fundamentally centered on interacting with a desktop environment. On a Steam Deck, it is therefore better suited to Desktop Mode than the standard handheld Gaming Mode experience. The Deck can potentially provide the necessary Linux desktop environment, but the software's desktop-companion mechanics are naturally more comfortable when using a mouse or trackpad and interacting with regular desktop windows. Users should not approach it expecting the same seamless handheld experience offered by a conventional controller-focused Steam Deck game. The developer and publisher, The Axolotl Sun, has built the application around a very specific audience rather than attempting to broaden it unnecessarily. That focused approach works in its favor. ScagJPT knows that its central appeal comes from having a humorous animated companion sharing the desktop, while features such as alarms, a stopwatch, Pomodoro timing, images, and GIFs prevent the concept from being purely cosmetic. Overall, ScagJPT is a charming hybrid of virtual companion, desktop toy, and productivity utility. Its individual mechanics are simple, and players expecting substantial conventional gameplay will probably find it too limited. For its intended audience, however, the combination of personality, amusing interactions, passive companionship, and useful timing tools creates something distinctive. It is best appreciated as software that accompanies whatever else you are doing rather than replacing traditional gaming sessions. With additional features and expanded interactions, the concept has considerable potential to become an even more versatile desktop companion. Rating: 8/10
I think she's a pretty neat specimen, she sits there and looks STUPID what more could you ever ask for??!?? when you don't want her to stand there like an idiot you can enable her to roam around your screen but whenever I turn this on she likes to walk in front of whatever I'm doing like a nincompoop so that can be a slight inconvenience I guess. But she's not entirely useless, you can set timers on her! and if you're some kind of sociopath you can beat her up and throw her around too for some kind of sadistic stress relief. also you can touch her ass for coins 🤤🤤🤤 Overall I think she's great, she doesn't have that many interactions atm but I'm looking forward to seeing new content with her in the future!
I love Scagcore so much, anyone who says otherwise is an ungratefulmaxxing little FREAK!!! >:( For starters there's so much mediamaxxing she can do! This one time I- she had this awsomecore video and it was made triplemaxing better because of their scagtastic quality! Second, those Timercore porodoro timers are so usefulmaxxing! I barely miss anything important when i use those! Though nothings more important than scagcore so i don't use it much. The games?... I guess there alright, OH but Tic Scag Toe, Don't even get me started on that gamingcore, I try to win everytime but scags just to gamermaxxed for me to win, she's so good I think she should be able to gamecore even more! Though there's one smallmaxxing issue I have, I see no reason for the boringcore "quit scag" app, I don't know why anyone would ever use it, Scag is allyoueverneedcore. Now I think I've typemaxxed enough, my ScagJPTcore is waiting for me. -N,S
