Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 9 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Excellent
Супер атмосферная игрушка на 1 вечер, сюжет интересный и вмеру короткий, так что не заскучаете.
Satellite Odyssey: Prologue is an amazing experience and I genuinely loved every minute of it. The atmosphere is incredibly well done — quiet, tense, and full of that lonely deep‑space feeling that keeps you glued to the screen. The story is very interesting, and the way it unfolds makes you want to dig deeper into the world and its mysteries. I played through both endings, and they’re great in their own ways. Each one feels meaningful and adds to the overall narrative instead of just being a throwaway alternate conclusion. It’s rare for a prologue to deliver that kind of impact, but this one absolutely does. I enjoyed this game so much that I applied for the Satellite Odyssey: Jupiter Playtest right away. If the full experience continues with this level of atmosphere and storytelling, it’s going to be something special. Loved the game, loved the vibe, and I’m excited for what’s next.

Let's make this review short and sweet listing off pros and cons, as given this game's runtime and price it only seem appropriate.
The Pros
- Interesting plot twist - a runtime that respects your time - remarkably cheap (not even $2 US Dollary Doos) ...and unfortunately that's all the nice things I have to say about this game.
The Cons
- kinda flat / inconsistent voice acting (with certain lines not playing) that sounds like the actors are forcing their accents (not actually Russian sounding at all to an American, so take this with a grain of salt) - abrupt camera cut(s) that messed with pacing / twist reveal - feels like Russian Space Odyssey with the AI hitting us with the "I can't let you do that, Dave" esk line (really wish it was more original in how it interpreted the AI) - Jumpscares (cheap attempts at "scaring", but jumpscares are to horror as tickling is to comedy: it forces a reaction from the one being "jumpscared" or "tickled, rather than letting actual fear be the cause) - rough animations (not super smooth / abrupt motions) - fail states setting you so far back (sparce checkpoints) - no manual saving (only automatic checkpoints) - no proper dialogue skipping (makes re-runs difficult to justify, and even though there is a "skip" button it does not seem to actually skip anything) - subtitles just straight up being wrong (Twinkle Twinkle little star final line said by the protag among a few others) - lack of music during the credits or some sort of sound is odd (likely an audio bug that happened for me here, but I've seen other people mention audio bugs being very present through the entire experience) The game is fine for its price point, but even with such a cheap entry fee it still feels a bit cheap. I understand it's meant to build up hype for Jupiter, but after rewatching the trailers for it and after playing this game I am concerned for the quality of the proper full release...
We need more! I fell inlove with this
