I don't usually post reviews, however, Sansar is pure garbage. To start you have to create an account using your email. Which is find, but when one attempts to do this through the headset, the virtual keyboard that is given to do this only has letters, a space bar, and a back space key. No numbers or special keys making it impossible to type @ and .com needed for completing an email address. So I did my account through Steam, and I couldn't complete since I couldn't choose an avatar because the program said I wasn't online. If I'm not online how am I on Steam and able to browse the internet? It maybe a free game but it is not worth the high price paid by frustration and aggravation.
I went to this Metaverse for a long time and they always promised to fix. Always empty of users, Sansar had potential due to the engine, but the way this platform is managed triggered a lot of bad issues. If you are a 3d creator like me and want to do Professional Work, dont use this platform. In addition to charging abusive fees, this metaverse does not pay for what you sell on the 3D market. In 2 years of Market I only made $57 and they dont pay me. I dont know why.... The Codex is always broken. No people there. No good Music Events. Even your list of friends has problems. Sansar is a Big Lie. The Engine now is obsolete and a lot of bugs make Sansar the worst metaverse to use today. Dont waste your time.

Looks cool, but it's so empty, I'd just recommend VRChat instead, I want to like it, but it's a platform that's kinda dead, and has little to none in terms of user-base.
After a few years of abstinence, I tried Sansar again. The installation did not run smoothly. Thanks to a comment from the Steam community, I was able to start Sansar after deleting the client directory and checking the installed files. The ordeal continued. I own the HP Reverb G2 VR glasses and an RTX 2070S. Even at half resolution, the game is unplayable. The next problem soon became apparent. There are no controller bindings that work straight away. With an Oculus custom binding, I was at least able to move and turn. Activating the Steam options in the game completely disrupts the application. It has to be restarted. At times, the VR options did not even open. There are also strange visual errors. Obvious rectangular objects are distorted in perspective. Looks strange. I will now remove Sansar from my hard disk again.
