Played on my Meta Quest 2 @MatureContent
This is a free VR graffiti sandbox that while doing some things well, struggles in many other places. This game offers a campaign like mode and a sandbox creative mode. The campaign mode is this thing where you have to pack a backpack with everything you need before leaving and the time is running constantly with like a day and night cycle thing? At least if I understood it correctly, I never played long enough in a single session to see it turn dark. I do really like the idea of a campaign mode where you have to prepare beforehand and I hope we see this expanded upon in other titles in the future, especially something where you would have to be sneaky about it and hide from possible employees or cops in the area would be a fun thing. Unfortunately, in this game, it doesn’t really feel much different from the creative mode, other than you have a backpack. The can you bring never goes empty and the small industrial area you can move around in is very small and limited. Some other places where this game is lacking a bit is in the paintable colors, which are mostly boring and with no special choices like e.g. chrome and gold, it is all just standard solid colors. Flaring is also near impossible, with the trace going crazy leaving lines everywhere and the paint also doesn't drip when spraying in the same spot. The map design like I briefly talked about before, feels limited, low detail, colors are weirdly saturated and it doesn't look all that realistic. All that said, painting itself feels alright and if you don’t need it to be realistic and just serve as a fun free sandbox, it does that pretty well. This game is good because it offers a "free" alternative to games like Kingspray, Vivespray and Graffitism VR, but you also won't get that same quality. I recommend playing this if you are broke and/or just want to try out graffiti in VR for fun. If you are looking for something more advanced though, I recommend any of the other games. ————————————————————————————— Help me out by following my Curator, I’d really appreciate it!!

This is probably the best graffiti game out. I’m not going to compare it to other games directly (since everyone’s opinion differs) but I’ll list what I like about it. Where it’s at right now in the cycle is very good. Locomotion is intuitive and can be adjusted. The paint feels good and not “dotted”, so I can use the can at speed and not feel like I need it to catch up or that it missed spots. Has multiple undo/redo, and a dropper. Has many options to adjust graphics. The open world concept is only as open as you want it to be, though you can’t paint on EVERY surface, but they are designated and easy to find. Many quality of life improvements, far and beyond what is offered in any other game. There is a projector, reference images you can load in, even your own mp3 tracks. Tbh, it’s free and you won’t find a better one at this time, and even at the price of the dlc to support the dev and to get some more actually usable stuff is valid.
With as many issues Kingspray has, I think I'll stick with that title over this game. This one is too rough for me to recommend. This game feels like it's trying too hard to be an "immersive world simulation" thing, and while I can appreciate that on some level, when it comes to VR graffiti, I just want a good art program. This isn't it, unfortunately.
This is by far my favourite VR game. After playing the game that this was inspired by; 'Kingspray', I have to say that I actually prefer this. I like being able to travel around the whole map. If your looking for a fun VR game to mess around in, this it it.
Good
Instantly a new favorite game of mine. super realistic, super fun, and i love the backpack idea. Let's hope for multiplayer servers!
this game is very realistic and true to life while adding quality of life improvements. i enjoy every aspect of this game even in developmental phase and am greatly looking forward to what it brings in the future
This game has completely been reworked from the ground up. If you tried this back in 2020 make sure to try it again. Devs have put some serious effort into this title. The best part is that the devs are actively working on this game so it will continue to improve even more over time.
I recommend in Graffiti Bombing's current state. If you're looking to create graffiti or just want to tag up virtual property with art, this is the app to do so. Graffiti Bombing has come a long way since it's original release with a lot of quality of life and general improvements. Bought and played Graffiti Bombing during the original release in 2020, played a few of the beta access cycles over the last few years and now again after it's re-release and it's come a long way during that time. I feel Graffiti Bombing still has a long way to go to be feature complete but the developer is making steady progress towards their goal.
