About
Sandustry is a factory automation game where every pixel is a resource waiting to be mined, mixed, processed, or destroyed. Explore a vast and fully-destructible open world as you seek out powerful artifacts left behind by an ancient civilization.

You’ve arrived on a vast unexplored planet filled with diverse biomes and beautiful landscapes – time to bring the fires of industry! From humble beginnings sifting gold from sand, you will quickly build a growing factory, unlocking powerful new technologies and production chains as you assess the viability of the planet for further industrialization. Countless options lie before you – will you focus on developing more advanced processing and logistical capabilities across your rapidly-expanding factory? Will you take advantage of local wildlife to aid with your mission? Or will you prioritize the hunt for artifacts, spending valuable resources to unlock access to their boons? And hey, there’s no faster way to mine than with the help of a rocket launcher, right? Build a beacon of industry and automation starting with nothing more than the trusty conveyor belt, incorporating filters, drones, pipes, pumps, and a myriad of other parts as you harness nature itself to do your bidding.

From individual grains of sand and flakes of snow to seeds, spores, and chips of ice, every pixel in Sandustry is a physical entity with its own properties. Discover countless chemical and physical reactions and exploit them to develop your production chains, building a pixel-perfect factory to optimize every step, or embracing chaotic webworks of conveyor belts and lifts as long as they get the job done – but be warned, sand is coarse, rough, and it gets everywhere, which introduces a new layer of complexity. The resources in Sandustry react to each other and the world around them – ice melts into water when heated, which turns to steam and rises if brought to a boil (only to come back down as rain if you let it reach the skies). Sand absorbs water around it, slowly depleting limited reservoirs to provide the wet sand that can be sifted for gold, while watered seeds bloom into flowers that can be ignited with fire to produce vital resources.

Deep beneath the planet’s surface lie countless mysteries for you to explore. Find clever ways to overcome the challenges left behind by an ancient civilization to uncover vaults of great knowledge and power. Nothing punches through a thick wall of ice like a freshly purchased flamethrower, but perhaps you can find a way to redirect some lava instead?

Built with modding in mind, Sandustry lets you explore everything from visual tweaks and hand-crafted maps to entirely new buildings and processes that you can integrate into your production chains. Dedicated modding tools make it easy to customize your experience, share your ideas with the world, and even overhaul the whole game!
As you delve deeper into the planets of Sandustry and expand your industrial capabilities, the challenges will grow, but so too will your ways to overcome them. With fully destructible worlds where every pixel is a resource to be harnessed, your options are limitless.

I played through this in just two (admittedly way too long) sessions, the concept is super fun and addicting. It's also one of the most well-polished games I've ever played, getting close to Factorio-levels of technical perfection, even though it's still in early access. Insane to think it's made in JavaScript. You can absolutely feel how much love, care and attention the developer puts into this game. Content-wise there is still potential for expansion and progress rebalancing to increase the playtime you get out of it, but that's not to say it feels incomplete or anything. I'll be happy to play through Sandustry again and again as future content updates come out, and I'm also very hopeful for its modding scene to grow.
結構前に体験版やってたけど、日本語対応したのもあって結構遊びやすくなったと感じた。買って絶対に損はしない。

Had a lot of fun with this. Took around 8 hours to complete the current early access campaign on my first blind run, up through tier 7. Definitely has a lot of potential. The design choice to have production buildings be completely free is incredibly refreshing. The most tedious part of most production/factory games is manufacturing building to manufacture more buildings, so being able to experiment and overdesign without having to manufacture buildings in this game is great. The biggest weakness of the game IMO is how linear the production pathway is. You dig up sand, dunk it in water for wet sand, shake that to get residue, burn that to get burnt residue, drop that to get seeds, dunk those in water to get wet seeds, etc, etc. There is exactly one process you can perform with any given production resource, and that process then produces exactly one kind of output resource that you can continue refining (and possibly some gold, depending on the processing step). The crafting tree of any production resource is just a straight line, with some water or heat tossed in every now and then. Hopefully the full release will have more complex production chains.
Crazy good physics based factory automation game. Played 11 hours straight in one sitting. I haven't played something i liked as much as this game for a long time, buy it and just watch some sand getting launched around. Early access content can be finished around 10-15 hours but you can try to optimize your factory even more. Don't listen to people that say things like "I had to wait while the game ran in the background", this is a unoptimized factory builder cry. You can go and try to optimize your factory further even after the content ends which is also super fun. More content will definitely come, highly recommend this one.

Banned from their discord for trying to keep them on-topic related to the game but they insist on talking about current events instead. Told the "mods" with "APP" next to their name that they were blocked and they couldn't figure out how I did it so they banned me over it LMFAO Very one sided discord that CONSTANTLY talks about current events and NOT the game. This downvote is the result of your actions and I hope it brings the glaring issue to light that this ♥♥♥♥ is starting to happen EVERYWHERE and it needs to be stopped.

I don't normally review things but this game captured me, just cozy enough to chill and play, with a hearty grind for gold and expansion that kept me awake a few minutes too late more than once. I'm ecstatic to see what this game has to come!
