I love this game , and i think it gonna be my next favorite game . i wish the full release has coop online to play it with my friend. 나는 이 게임을 좋아하고, 다음으로 좋아하는 게임이 될 것 같음. %%%에 친구와 함께 할 수 있는 협동조합이 온라인에 있었으면 좋겠음.
cool game
Prospector: The First Contract is a prologue to the game that is still in the works and is yet to be released. It is a sandbox with survival elements and a ton of automation. At first glance, the game looks pretty good with cute graphics and the idea behind the mechanics. It makes you think that your experience with the game is going to be satisfying and relaxing, however, that was not the case for me. You load into the world and start your journey with the tutorial. Unfortunately, it is very intuitive because I literally got confused and stuck on the second objective of the tutorial. I have opened the thing I was supposed to craft (it didn't have a name, just an icon) multiple times but I didn’t know what to do with it. Later I discovered that there is a tiny text at the left bottom of the screen on how to craft it. I managed to overcome that part of the tutorial having already spent 30 minutes into the game. The thing I am talking about is connected from the base and provides you with the energy that’s used to perform literally any action in the game. You can place it every few squares and have to keep connecting it if you want to explore the map. Without it, it doesn’t make sense to explore because you are going to run out of energy in seconds. In short, you cannot freely explore in this game without having to deal with that annoying mechanic. While exploring you will come across monsters that will attack you. There is only one enemy in this game and it is super annoying. When the monsters spot you, they will start chasing you and when you kill them, they will explode dealing damage to you. There is usually a lot of them at once and only 2 or 3 explosions are enough to kill you and make you drop your items. Get ready to be dying like that a lot and having to go back for your items every time. You will often be forced to engage in a fight with them because they drop items that you will need a lot of. It doesn’t get any easier or less annoying with time. The map is pretty small and it is made in a form of islands. In order to get to the other parts of the map, you are going to have to cross the water. I often tried crossing and ended up drowning along with my items. What the game doesn’t tell you is that at certain parts, there is less water and you can actually cross without drowning if you do that fast enough. I discovered that after around 1,5h into the game. Until I accidentally figured that out, I thought that those parts were inaccessible. I was just running around trying to progress. What a waste of time it was. Near the end of my journey with the game I got stuck again. In this game you level yourself up doing deliveries of resources outside of your planet. When I reached rank 3 the progress bar stopped moving. I made around 20 deliveries and nothing happened. I wasted around an hour, if not an hour and a half just doing that. Apparently the game glitched because when I decided to quit and reopen it, miraculously the bar fixed itself and started moving again. Only then I was able to reach rank 4 for the last achievement and finish my experience. In summary, the game turned out to be a negative experience for me. Due to it being so intuitive I wasted a lot of time figuring things out, unable to progress. Then my game decided to glitch out and I wasted even more time for nothing. Considering that it only took me 3,5h to perfect this game, more than half of it I just wasted. The enemies in this game made my experience with it even worse. Unfortunately, this prologue did not win me. I don’t plan on following or purchasing the full version when it comes out. My experience with Prospector ends with this prologue. Prospector: The First Contract - a game that is really well made both visually and gameplay wise, overall it's a great product! By the way, I was glad that there are different choices when answering, really...cool
Interesting game mechanics, as well as rich and bright graphics, I really liked it.
Fun game but has some performance issues and its not finished. Waiting for full release
It's a simple farming game where you ship your product off-world for more money. It's very easy to 100%. Prospect is perfect for anyone who just wants to relax. I'm sure the game would have gotten harder, but it never made it to full release. The developers might have had financial issues, but it's hard to say. It is no longer on the steam store, but if you have this game give it a try.
This game has elements of Satisfactory, Factorio and Astroneer in a pixel style graphics complete with a few worldly hazardous and odd aliens and it just works. And you have a pet robot and apparently you work for amazon universal. It kind of tells you want to do but doesn't really hold ya hand. Once I had the basics, I was building random factories and belt systems all over the place. I hope they add co-op. Is it worth a try? yes Will it be worth the buy in the end? I hope so.
pro: this is a demo, as it be i have not yet finished the game and i most definetly have atleast 10 hours of content to be played, this demo was free yet is still very enjoyable, when the full game releases i will purchase it and most defiently recommend for full experience. alot of building , destroying and alot of space stuff. con: with this being a demo you will have to give it some lee way but the fact that there are many spots you can be stuck and basically have to wait to die is insane, the fact that there is water blocking land masses makes it hard to first connect the pipes for power and oxygen, sometimes impossible but i do not yet know if there is a solution, also the part where the water will kill you in two seconds is stupid, can you not swim??? also the enemy and combat system is weird with little amount of variety and secondly them either being passive and easy to kill or agressive and take away half of your health is weird, dont get me started on the hunger bar in the space game , because it goes down quite fast , the only food is a space berry which there arent too many and give you low hunger . last con is that you cant have different weapons which you could change for differnt purposes, its just one tool. IN CONCLUSION its a fun demo with a few bugs , i do reccomend to try the full game if its for like 15 bucks or less , :)
This game immediately caught my eye. It reminded me of other pixel management games like APICO or Starvalley, except you get to explore and sort of colonize planets while gathering resources to be shipped to other colonies. It did not disappoint with the game play and audio. Finished all achievements. I would recommend to try it and buy it when it releases.
