About
Welcome to SAND: Raiders of Sophie. Pilot your custom built war machines across the dunes of a fallen planet, battle rival players, scavenge for loot, weapons, ammo and resources, survive and extract with your spoils in a massive procedurally generated world.
Out here on Sophie, a raider is only as strong as their Trampler. Fully customizable, gigantic walking mechs that shield you from the elements, defend you and your loot from rival scavengers and rain destruction on anything that obstructs your pursuit of becoming the most notorious raider upon the dunes!
Design a modular trampler where your creativity and will to succeed is your only limit.
Build an impenetrable fortress that can weather the deadliest of assaults, a walking war machine stacked with mounted turrets and firepower, something small and stealthy to get you out of trouble as quickly as you get into it or a chaotic jumble of modules to confuse and disorient your enemies.
No matter your playstyle, you can design a trampler to support it.
Get your crew together, or go solo as you embark on expeditions. Deploy into the world, chart your course, and scavenge cities, ruins, shipwrecks and other remnants of a fallen world for loot. Survive encounters with the mysterious supernatural Upiors, fight or talk your way out of confrontations with other players, locate your extract point and escape to the safety of the orbital station with your loot, life and Trampler intact.
Smoke on the horizon, the groans of the undead echoing through the cities, and the distant rumble of sand all signal danger. Every city looted, shipwreck scoured or ill-timed encounter with other scavengers might just be your last, so keep your wits about you.
There are no friends on Sophie, the only ones you can trust are you and yours.
Design your Tramplers from scratch in the Trampler Editor before deploying into the world. Test your builds and scavenge lower-tier items at your own pace in Voyage Mode, or raise the stakes in Storm Dive for higher-tier loot and greater rewards, where as sandstorms slowly engulf the region, the risk of confrontations with other scavengers and the loss of your hard earned loot increases.

Incrivelmente bom, tudo no jogo é agradavel, desde o PVP, PVE, construções, loot. Pra mim a melhor parte é o som, estao de parabens, é sensacional escutar os tanques e as bombas explodindos, da uma grande imersão. Espero que nao desistam do projeto
NOTE: This is for the pre-release version of the game - currently at Update #4. Description and Highlights: SAND is a promising PvPvE adventure in which you pilot steampunk-style mechs called Tramplers across the vast sandy deserts of an alien planet. At all times you are free to move from station to station on the ship, or not occupy a station at all. While piloting across the rolling deserts you encounter numerous shipwrecks, dried-out but difficult-to-navigate coral reefs, and unique seaside towns, ports, and military forts. These naval features clearly show that this planet was recently covered with vast seas and oceans but is now an inhospitable place. To top it off, there are the upiors - humanoids transformed by mysterious coral gases into something resembling drowned pirate zombies. Don't underestimate them: they will shoot at you with acquired weapons or man heavy gun turrets in the shipwrecks, towns, and forts if you approach in your Trampler. Topping it off are detection beacon posts jammed into the ground in various places which will snitch out your location and orbital drop 1 to 4 (or so) heavily armored Ironside tramplers to hassle you. These are easily beaten once you become proficient with using your Trampler's weapons, but can be a hassle if you're in the middle of duking it out with a heavily armed Trampler (or two, or three...). However, you can also use them to get in the way of other Tramplers, if you're clever. What's really fun, so far, is all the loot. (Or 'goop' as some call it) There is a decent variety of weapons, armor, and items in the early-to-midgame experience that you will look forward to jumping overboard to find out what's in the boxes strewn about a shipwreck or town. From the start, you can carry a great deal of loot by carrying around one of the generous supply of empty green cargo boxes found all over the place. The bad: The developers are addressing the rampant cheaters who have sprung up around this title. (Still in pre-release and people want to cheat!?!? Ugh.) They've mitigated a big frustration by temporarily removing the ability to take over other tramplers (claim them as your own). This feature is promised to return, and make high-seas, err... high-SANDS piracy even more dangerous than it is now. There are also small interface and control issues I've noticed and other bugs they've identified but haven't yet fixed. Ex.: A persistent bug in which a player manning an artillery piece is immune to melee damage. Ex.: Assigning the "Use" key to a key which also controls a maneuvering function once you start to pilot a Trampler, results in the Trampler immediately moving in that direction once you "Use" it. [e.g. If Use is "E" immediately upon piloting a Trampler, it begins strafing right (Q/E keys to strafe left/right)]
Rough around the edges but the core game play loop is fun and something unique. Has the potential to be something great
I've been having a issue recently where the game would randomly kick me saying "to ensure the proper functioning of the battle eye anti cheat system the game needs to be restarted. this has happen to me in every game i have played and has gotten me killed twicer. the game is unplayable in this state
Really want to love this game. Currently full of cheaters, Players in solos running as teams, and many bugs. Worst yet, there was a region selection bug that randomly selected your region at the start of the game. this in turn forces you to create a regionally locked character. I am central north america however unknowingly have spent almost 80 hours playing in a south america server. due to this I cannot play with friends, stuck playing solos, and if I want to play on a central north american server I must lose all my progress, making the 80 hours of time spent in this game building and grinding, worth absolutely nothing because I will have to start all over... game is in a mess state. was so much better in the beta. games gone down the drain quick. I pray they fix these issues and allow server migration so that I can come back and adjust my review. but until then.. DO NOT RECOMMEND
So this game is one of my favorites already! And it's great! Absolutely phenominal game. It has such potential too! But i am giving this a bad review until the cheating is fixed. Players can aimhack, set up cheats to know where all enemy players on a map are and their tramplers, they can freely fly around, teleport, speed run, and just go inside your captains quarters and take over your trampler for free. So at the moment I can't in good conscience give it a good review. The devs need to do something. It's becoming rampant, people are sending in not just clips, but full videos. So they have to be aware there is a huge problem now. Bring in an anti-cheat and clean this up and I'll happily change this back to a good review and start playing again. But with these cheaters they're ruining the game and its future.
Lowkey game of the year, people complain but its just cheaters and they are fixing it. needs some balancing but they are updating the game every week and are listing to feedback constantly. amazing devs amazing game. peak.
this game is not worth $20, its a cool concept but the cheaters and ♥♥♥♥ that play ruin it
The best worst game of all time thats the only way I can say it
the game is sea of thieves and arc raiders combined the core game play loop is loads of fun and has lots intense moments. BUTTTT the game is still in EARLY ACCESS and has massive problems i still recommend this game tho bc these problems will get fixed. these are the ones that stand out 1.like the match making is buns only 3 opts solo/small/large- large is 4-6 people on a crew if you have 4 this putts you at a huge disadvantage and it gets so much worse when you have to fight teams with stronger ships and gear. 2.hackers this is a problem rn but this will be fixed it always is in new games 3.lots of bugs and clear issues with ai and gun play
