The latest iteration of the 10th anniversary "SAMURAI WARRIORS" series is here at last! Naomasa Ii appears as a playable character for the first time, and the various personalities of the age are explored in more depth in "Story Mode", which is now focused on individual characters.

Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Hours of hack-and-slash fun; repeated the finished stories and still replayable.

SAMURAI WARRIORS 4-II is a fast-paced action game that delivers exactly what fans of the musou genre expect: large battlefields, dozens of enemies, and stylish special attacks. From the first mission, the game creates a strong feeling of momentum, making every battle look dramatic and energetic. It may not reinvent the formula, but it knows how to make its core gameplay satisfying. One of the strongest parts of the game is its combat system. Attacks feel smooth, responsive, and flashy, especially when combining normal strikes with powerful skills and ultimate moves. Each character has a different fighting style, which helps keep the gameplay from becoming too repetitive. Trying out different warriors is one of the main reasons the game stays entertaining for many hours. The character roster is another major highlight. There are many playable samurai, and each of them has a distinct personality, weapon type, and role in the story. Even if some characters are more memorable than others, the variety adds depth and gives players a reason to experiment. Fans of Japanese history and dramatic storytelling will likely enjoy seeing these famous figures reimagined in such an exaggerated and colorful way. Story presentation is decent, though not always equally engaging across every chapter. Some moments feel epic and emotional, while others move too quickly or rely too much on familiar anime-style drama. Still, the game succeeds at making battles feel important, and several character-focused episodes help create a stronger connection with the cast. It is not a deeply complex narrative, but it works well enough for this kind of action game. Visually, the game looks bright and stylish, with detailed costumes and impressive special effects during combat. The environments are not always highly detailed, but they serve their purpose well and keep the focus on the action. The soundtrack also deserves praise, as it adds energy to battles and helps maintain the heroic atmosphere throughout the campaign. At the same time, the game is not without flaws. Missions can become repetitive over time, especially for players who are not already fans of hack-and-slash gameplay. The camera can occasionally be awkward in crowded fights, and some objectives feel too similar from one battle to the next. Because of this, enjoyment depends a lot on whether you appreciate the musou formula in the first place. Overall, SAMURAI WARRIORS 4-II is a fun and polished action game that offers satisfying combat, a strong cast of characters, and plenty of content for genre fans. It does not try to be something completely new, but it delivers an enjoyable experience with style and confidence. If you like games where you cut through hundreds of enemies and feel like an unstoppable warrior, this one is definitely worth trying.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A fun, mindless hack and slash with decent Koei Tecmo style storytelling and it's $50? You can get Cyberpunk and both Fallen Order games for $40, or just buy the new dynasty warriors for $50. This pricing is gross.
