Given all the reviews for the game, I've been hesitant to play it. I've had this game for a while. I love both 2 and 3 for what they are. I enjoyed 1 and 4. Gat out of Hell was alright. The few "sanitizing" changes (Rimjob to JimRob and Freckle ♥♥♥♥♥'s to FB's) understandably turned a lot of people off. And the trailers as well. I heard so much about these things that I never watched the trailers myself, also turned off. It felt like Saints Row might be losing its edge, which is a hallmark characteristic of Saints Row. I decided to finally give it a try and see. This is more grounded than 3 but still has fun wackiness. The writing is fun with the type of ridiculous you would expect from a Saints Row game. The Boss (player character) is a badass. Neenah, Kev, and Eli all have their roles to play and excel. And they all are badasses as well. Yes Eli has a "self-help" disc that he listens to. But [spoiler] that is in just one, maybe two missions in the beginning. A point is made in the beginning that he doesn't shoot guns. But he asks you to help him learn how. It's part of his sidequest questline. And he becomes very capable. [/spoiler] The gangs are written silly and ridiculous. But in a way that is in line with a Saints Row game. This is absolutely NOT soulless. For example, there is a sidequest questline where you [spoiler] do some LARPing with cardboard armor and "fake" weapons. The writing is exactly the silliness and fun you'd expect from a Saints Row game. The voice actors all really get into it. New death animations were made and written specifically for this, including voice acting lines. [/spoiler] You can tell everyone is having fun! That is what comes across most about this game: everyone was having fun making it and performing in it. And it is very enjoyable to play. It is a good Saints Row game. One I would gladly give a high recommend. I think the marketing really failed this game hard.

Absolute trash! They rebooted the saints row just to get rid of Jonny Gat voiced by Daniel Dae Kim. And did it by making the game inferior in every way and the pc-port is so horible its insulting. Its still the exact same saints row game just inferior in every way. And aperently steam have a 2 week limit for how long a customers rights are valid. And this is not the first time im hating on this game.

Honestly, not that bad as everyones making it out to be. I understand it doesn't have the old school saint row appeal but i'm not hating it entirely. It's a decent game and I paid $6 for the deluxe so I'm not hurting about it. Nothing compares to good ol Saint Row 3 though.
Лучшая гтаобразная игра за 500 рублей. Весело, драйвово, без особой новомодной повесточки. С критическими багами не встретился. Баги были или звуковые: вместо музыки был железный скрежет, как будто наушники сломались. И ровно один раз у меня зафризила мини карта, но починилось всё перезагрузкой сейва. Всем рекомендую.
ну фану пройти зашибись, а так ну не то, лишь миссия в конце рил похожа на серию этой игры(начальная тоже вроде как еще), остальное перемешка с гта и мафии, 7 пантерос из 10 маршалов
picked this up at a steep discount and i still feel like "damn that wouldve been money better spent on a subway sandwich" seriously this runs like ass and looks like a ps3 game. the writing is just bad. not so bad its good bad but just unenjoyable bad.
