Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 25 → 8.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Personal impressions after 21 hours of gameplay:
This game is better than Saints Row 3, Saints Row 4, and especially Agents of Mayhem. The world feels more refined, with a wider variety of activities in the open world—and they don’t get boring as quickly. Yes, the game has become less 'trashy' to the third and fourth entries, but it still remains a parody-style take on the GTA formula. The graphics have clearly improved; they’re no longer as primitive as in previous installments. It’s also noticeable that many ideas—missions, mechanics, and even the approach to building up your criminal empire—seem heavily inspired by GTA V. There are bugs, but they’re not particularly frustrating. If anything, they feel like part of the series’ identity—something that’s been there since the very first game. This time, we get a completely new story about the formation of the Saints gang, aiming to take control of Santo Ileso. The world itself is genuinely interesting and enjoyable to explore, which is something I personally didn’t feel as strongly in the earlier games.
So here’s the bottom line:
If you’re a die-hard fan of the original series, you’ll most likely be disappointed. But if you set nostalgia aside and judge it as a reboot—or even as a standalone project—it’s a game that deserves a chance and is definitely worth playing.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

======================================================================= Perhaps the negative reviews had tempered my expectations, but having played it, I found it not nearly as bad as rumored. That said, compared to Saints Row: The Third, it offers scant improvement—essentially playing like an oversized standalone expansion of its predecessor. Overall, I'd rate it "mediocre." but, since I did see it through to the end, I'll grudgingly give it my recommendation.
👢 Man, why is this half-baked? It's literally "Saints Raw", and that's why I don't recommend it. There are too many minor, annoying bugs with: collisions, animations, interface, sound, customization, timings, and skills. It's like the game wasn't tested and definitely wasn't polished. Now for the main thing: the reboot has disappointed fans. The reason is the main cast, which doesn't work with this kind of story. Every generation has its cringeworthy stereotypes, but they never make things cool. The plot is very short, weak, and dull. Now about the good things: Well, the fact that it's soulless, empty, and boring is complete nonsense. Combining SR with the Wild West is a top-notch idea. There are plenty of interesting places in the world, and the gradual empire-building mechanics works nicely. While some mission types aren't the best, there aren't any truly bad ones (except the wingsuit challenges), but there are some broken ones. If this weren't SR and worked properly, it wouldn't be so bad. There was potential here, but it was wasted.
Saints Row itself is an okay game, but not a good reboot as it barely feels like Saints Row at all. The game is full of bugs, although most of the ones I encountered were cosmetic rather than game-breaking; characters glitch, animations break, and objects behave strangely occasionally. It is not always enough to ruin the game, but it makes the whole experience feel unfinished and cheap. The voice acting is also painfully dull. It's not completely terrible, but it lacks the personality and energy that the voice actors brought to Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV. Those games had characters who felt larger than life, while the reboot’s cast mostly sounds bored, awkward, or annoying. The jokes are rarely inappropriate, outrageous, or even funny, which removes one of the biggest things that gave the older games their identity. The driving does not help either. Cars feel floaty, weightless, and just... strange. The gunplay somehow feels worse than previous iterations of games. The skill system also feels unnecessary, and the executions, while cool, makes combat pacing feel awkward, clunky, and unharmonious making it feel even less like a Saints Row game. The audio is inconsistent, in cutscenes it's good, but during gameplay it sometimes becomes too quiet, sounds too far away, or the wind sounds too loud. The plot might be the worst part. Saints Row used to be about building a criminal empire, taking over a city, and becoming increasingly ridiculous along the way and while the game can have that, it just... feels flat, soulless. This game starts with the characters worrying about student loans and making a lazy joke about capitalism. Like, what? That's the first real impression players get? It feels like the writers were more interested in making the Saints relatable than making them entertaining, inappropriate, and memorable. The graphics are probably the best part, as far as the lighting at least because models just look... off and whoever modelled that cat should really re-evaluate their skills. Santo Ileso, however, can genuinely look great, and the environments are often beautiful. Unfortunately, good graphics cannot save weak writing, mediocre characters, awkward gameplay systems, and a complete lack of the personality that made the series popular. Because of how bad the game actually was, I'm not entirely surprised Volition was shut down a year later by Embracer (though there were other circumstances that also caused this to happen but the game's poor reception in addition to its bad marketing performance which definitely didn't help). Gaming companies need to learn to stop trying to reinvent the wheel and just keep what is already good and loved by players but simply improve on them. This is becoming a constant thing that needs to end. Like I said earlier though, as a game it's okay at best but I'd never recommend it if you're looking for an actual Saints Row game. If you're looking for a GTA alternative or are curious, I'd say it's worth $10 at most.
idk why there's so many negative reviews, but i'm just going to assume they didn't even like the old games either. This game is an absolute delight, i'm having so much fun meeting the characters and exploring the world. plus, all the nods to the original games. It's witty, silly, violent in the most absurd ways-- it's everything you could want from a saints game Also, changing Rim Jobs to Jim Rob's is hilarious lmao
Absolutely Nyaaa
