I bought it for 6 $, I had fun, it's ok. Had I paid full price I'd feel ripped off. This game tries too hard to be GTA and forgot it is supposed to be Saints Row. It falls into the same trap as Mafia 3, unlock district, do ♥♥♥♥, kill 5 different mobs, get more money. Over and over and over and over and over again. It's so repetitive and unimaginative. It's "ok" for an open world gta-style game, it's trash for a saints row-style game. So if you expect to drive around and shoot the ♥♥♥♥ you are at home, if you expect Saints Row you will be disappointed. 6/10 overall, 1/10 for Saints Row

The game is very millennials coded and cringe BUT behind that is a not so bad saints row game, it plays kinda like saints row 3 but less swagger, but similar formula. Its an ok game, I didnt mind spending time with it.

100% Saint's Row on 10/8/2023. For the amount of hate it got, it was quite a fun game. Felt like going back to Saints Row 2. Less silly then 3 and 4 and more down to earth. A bulk of the game is definitely in the side missions and not the main story though which can make the story seem underwhelming if you only focus on that.
For games such as these, I wish there was a neutral review button. As many have stated in the reviews before in different ways, this Saints Row game is not nearly the same as the rest of the Saints Row franchise. However, the game itself is decently enjoyable. I share a similar sentiment as well in the fact that many of the NPCs are uninteresting or do not make for a good fit in the Saints Row experience, but there are a few as well that are super cool. Missions are straight forward and decent for the most part, with a few hiccups along the way. Typical scavenger hunt as well as in all Saints Row games, so there is at least one similarity. Customization of weapons, vehicles, and more is pretty decent. I am impressed with the scale of the map along with the overall visual quality. In summary, I would recommend waiting for a great sale to purchase this game as I did. Good time waster. Better than a lot of other remasters in the past to be fair of other games with much more value in mind in my opinion (cough original battlefront 1/2 remaster cough).

Update after playing through it: money making is a bit grindy but doesnt take all too long. the main story itself makes no sense. the LARP story with the DLC is pretty fun. wish it was a bit longer. overall a decent game just not worthy of the saints row title The game Seems kinda overhated after the first few hours. It feels like a game that doesn't know what it wants to be. It definitely isnt a Saints Row game but it's not too bad. Gameplay mechanics are good and it's generally fun to play imo. It feels like a mix of GTA, Far Cry and to some extent Saints Row. As for graphics, it looks fine on ultra and runs somewhat well. Im getting ~100FFS @4k DLSS B (you can replace FSR with DLSS)
