i honestly dont know if i like soc or this more, the gameplay is a massive improvement from clear sky and soc as guns feel like actual guns, progression however is arguably worse to me as you can get good guns within 2 hours of playtime, graphics are gorgeous even in 2026, the bugs are of course here but unlike stalker clear sky i never encountered any game breaking bugs or crashes suprisingly, the story is pretty damn good and major degtyarev is cool, there are a lot of side quests you can do but they are kind of hard to solve as most require extensive exploration, the achievements system is also imo a really great feature with the benefits you can get from them, emissions are a nice touch, my only real complaint is how the world can feel a bit empty of danger but i feel thats mostly do to how i was used to soc, 8.5/10 a truly great game that i will remember for a long time much like shadow of chernobyl
