Абсолютно точно рекомендую. Игра очень атмосферная и реалистичная несмотря на графику. Прошел на русском через русификатор.
Hard if you dont know much about coding and hacking. But the world was so cool that I have to recommend. Honestly just look at the steam guide and play it purely for the story if you struggle or are confused.
Awesome game but so short especially since I am used to using a terminal so zero struggle but I wish it had tab autocompletion. :D
> no compound paths for cd > no tab autocomplete > protagonist is definitely a hunt-and-peck typist > uses nano
yeah i'd lobotomize myself too
I give it a 7/10, would be higher if it was the first act to a larger game. Was expecting more things to actually do based on the game's format and other people's reviews. For example: "The daunting task is only made possible by careful planning, and vulnerabilities hidden deep below legacy code and engineering." Is an insane expectation to read after completing the game. Regardless, the presentation is great and balances mystery and tension perfectly. For $3, the length is forgivable.
A very short coding horror game made by the same creator of: Buckshot Rolette & Unsorted Horrors. Very well made and simple, managed to beat it in less then a hour and was very hooked with the story of it and trying to piece together how it connects with the rest of his games, since all of them are based off the same universe.
s.p.l.i.t is a computer-science game that delves into server hacking and How Computer Science Ruins Your Life. The concept of split is very interesting! I'm very bad at games like these, I tend to not be able to figure out these puzzles without some help. But, otherwise, I like how deep this game delves. It's very unfortunately short, with me completing in less than an hour, but it has a LOT of potential to have a bigger game surrounded by its concept! Would you rather choose a screwdriver, or a noose?
I wish there was more for Ending 2 to see what happens to Axel, since it just ends after the two guards in the truck finish talking. It might be elaborated on in future games about what this company does, what being put into the machine means, but who knows. Mike has always been vague. Maybe there was something from the other games he's made that I forgot about.
It's short but...holy molly what an experience.
what the hell. scary. highly recommend.
