Décrié lors de sa sortie, ce jeu présente pourtant un certain nombre de qualités. Tout d'abord, il s'agit d'un très beau jeu, même 13 ans après sa sortie. L'univers est riche, les animations sont belles, et le rendu est fluide. Les combats sont assez jouissifs, notamment grâce au système d'exécution. Ils sont assez lisibles et agréables, mais se révèlent parfois répétitifs. Heureusement, certaines phases, trop peu nombreuses, viennent le gameplay et donnent réellement l'impression d'être en immersion au sein d'une légion romaine. La courte durée de vie du jeu [i](environ 6h en normal, sans chercher les collectibles)[/i] avait été très critiquée à l'époque. Pourtant, elle rend service à l'histoire, qui est bien rythmée et assez bien écrite. Le jeu est suffisamment long pour ne pas frustrer, et suffisamment court pour ne pas ennuyer. Ce ne sera peut être jamais votre jeu préféré, mais il est certain qu'il vous divertira assez lors d'une chaude journée d'été (foncez s'il est en soldes).

Very fun combat. Story was good enough and game is linear. Took about 7 hours to complete main story. I really enjoyed the combat.

Très bon jeu, très beau mais très linéaire.
Short and sweet. Sad to see that the campaign was obviously secondary to their plans with this game. Still nice to play because of how quick it is.
