If you like Runescape, and you like Valheim, you will like this game. Survival game with Runescape items and creatures. Early access still so of course it has some quirks, but nothing I've ran in to was enough to make me not enjoy the game, and devs are actively addressing and fixing the known things.
Finally got another survival story game to get super addicted to. Played it when it was unfinished and have some fun but this is well above my expectations. As I hinted, I love these types of games. Survival building games like Ark, 7 days to die, No Man Sky and Windrose to name a few. This game is making really difficult to play any of those right now. I am in a Solo world so take that for what its worth. Only unlocked copper tools but I have been getting lost in building, fishing and farming so I have not even gone to the poison area yet. This game is awesome to grind however you want to. You can rush to explore all the areas or you can take it slow while building a mansion on a hill like I did. Pros- Smooth game play on my PC staying around 100+ FPS with quality graphics while watching streams on the other monitor. No lagging or screen skipping. Game play/Combat is clean but solo gameplay pushes you to frontline attack. You can fight ranged but you have to play a lot slower or cheese them from far with a longbow. (I have not messed with wands yet, It looks stronger based on theburntpeanuts stream) I love the mix of stamina, food and potions. It really enhances combat, on top of that being able to use magic to reset your food and water buffs is a nice plus 1. There is a consumable or Rune Spell for every problem and the ROI matches well with the grind to make or unlock them via level. Building is by level, recipe learning or unlock by finding new resources which I am a fan of. It follows similar rules as the other games I mentioned with the building. You have to have supports for structures to be built high or it will not let you. This game has plenty of options and no building limits as far as size that I know of (minus game structures like every other story survival game). Hardcore base building fans can have a blast with crazy looking builds. Cons- Goblin raids... I need some sort of structure, traps or turret that can deal with or stop the goblin raids at my house because they were exciting and scary at first when they were a threat but now its just annoying to stop what I am doing and kill some waves of goblins. (Do not hate if there is something to unlock I just haven't got there yet if there is) Vaults seem to have the same two enemies as guards and the bosses are bigger versions of them. They have thrown in some rats (BTW RATs are OP lunging maniacs early and I hate them) The Vault traps do not punish enough and could use some buffs I want to have to at least be worried about being hit by them. I could be crazy here because I only have gone into 3 vaults so far but I have not struggled at all. Lures for fishing are a one use item which drives me crazy because I just want to fish for 10 straight hours! (not a real CON but I want to FISH MAN!) Conclusion- If you love the grind of a survival story base building game that goes at your own pace and you can share with friends then this is a game you will 100% enjoy! Best of luck Adventurer! If you need me I will most likely being chopping a tree down or catching a fish!!!
Game is a lot of fun with others. Runs well.
Türkçe dilinin olmaması çok kötü. Oyun güzel fakat dediğim gibi türkçe olsaydı 10/10 olurdu.
As someone who has been a fan of the original since it first launched, this game has been an incredible experience. I grew up playing RuneScape, so jumping into this brought back a wave of nostalgia while still feeling fresh and exciting. RuneScape has always had some of the best quests in gaming. I love how they draw you into the story, and the dialogue is just as witty, engaging, and charming as I remember. The music is absolutely top-notch and adds so much to the atmosphere. One of my favorite details is how, when you're reading about events from the past, you hear sounds that match what's happening in the story. It's such a clever touch that makes it feel like you're actually witnessing history unfold instead of just reading about it. I also enjoy reading about the different items I've discovered in game in the journal (or whatever it's called). 😂 Also for those frustrated with dying and losing all your stuff constantly....I was in the same boat but as an og rs fan when I saw an item for purchase in Fellhollow I knew right away I needed to buy it which has gotten rid of my frustrations when dying. I'm honestly hooked. I've put in over 80 hours in less than a week... don't judge 😂,.... and I still can't wait to log back in every time I take a break. If you loved the original RuneScape or enjoy story-driven RPGs with fantastic world-building, this is an easy recommendation.
The game is steady and the combat is fun and simple. The extra spell you can put on weapons and such, makes the gameplay better. The farming is good aswell, it seems slow but the farming spells make it fun to do.
its fun and self explanatory, played 10 hours right after purchase and dont regret at all
I usually refund a game after ten mins, because I generally know if i like it r not. I refund 90 percent of games. I instantly loved this game, was nostalgic from the first Runescape, but they obviously improved the graphics tremendously. The game on normal is well balanced, and easy enough for me too solo the content which is nice. The scenery is visually beautiful in the first zone. It has somne good puzzle, maze type dungeons , rewards are a tadge rubbish, perhps put more housing item recipes in it instead of torch colour variants. This is for me the only downside of the game, the lack of housing decor. If it had the decor it would be perfection. However i managed to use my imagination and create a sink bath and loo and not using the cheat way either, as i dont really understand those videos. I like the way it rewards you for levelling skills, makes u more powerful, however some of them seem a bit slow and not balanced. Like the Runecrafting. I just want Law ones to port please and you cant make till level 60. The mount is kinda quirky and fun with some hidden looks. The multiplayer seems to run smoothly without disconnections and You can all be in a different area without issues. However it gets very very hard when going from 2 too 3 players, think they need to look at this as well. Also would be nice if you could solo things in different zones too, as we gather different things and alone is somewhat hard if three are playing without backup. The building and crafting is very straightforward. All in all me and my friends all are really loving and enjoying this game. Thanks too the developers. Please implement more housing decor though, like pillows, baths , showers ,kitchen units ( so it looks like a house rather than a empty shell )
I've spent about 40 hours in the game now, and there is a lot to like. The artwork and music are excellent, the quests and story progression are enjoyable, and there are plenty of elements that have kept me interested. Unfortunately, I have also found the actual gameplay increasingly frustrating. Weapons break very quickly, forcing you to either carry several spares or constantly stop to repair them. The combat and stamina systems also feel janky and unresponsive. I enjoy combat games where skill, timing, and quick reflexes are rewarded through mechanics such as parrying and well-timed dodges. Here, the controls often feel too unreliable for that. Instead of feeling like I made a mistake and deserved to die, I often feel as though the game simply failed to respond properly. It is also common to be surrounded by groups of enemies that repeatedly stunlock you, leaving you unable to roll, block, or recover stamina before you die. Death then leads to another dreaded corpse run across the map without any equipment, which makes the whole experience even more punishing. I enjoy a lot about this game, but the unreliable combat, constant stun-locking, rapidly draining stamina, weapon durability, and lengthy corpse runs are really starting to ruin the experience for me.
