ass
not as good as 22 but stilll decent
pire jeux de rugby jamais cree
FIrst time I have ever commented that I wished there was a neutral (EDIT: the fact they can't get a basic rule of the game that has been around for over 20 years right kicks this down to negative). Context: been playing Rugby games since 2003, played every franchise and nearly every game since Jonah Lomu Rugby on the Playstation 1 at the highest diffficulty. Of the 2 devices I have tried this on running ChimeraOS (Linux SteamOS imitation fork) - 1 just doesnt start for some strange reason, which is the one with a dedicated graphics card and significantly more powerful CPU. Also no options at all for Graphic or Resolution. For some reason the actual matches are blurry during on the field play - like theyre trying to make it feel like TV, but it just looks bad. Players run super weird but it is charming. There needs to be an option to add labels to players so you know who you are controlling without looking down to the HUD. This has a great mechanics system - so much better than 20. Has enough of the free flow of Challenge Rugby, with a bit of the slower more technical aspects of EA sports rugby from early 2000's. The tutorials are borderline non-existant. 6 hours in and I still don't really know how half of the mechanics work or if it just pretends theyre there to get you to press buttons - most of the buttons you will have no idea about without looking up the controls in the settings. The fact any tackle means held up over goal is frustrating and speaks to a lack of effort or time. HOW GIVEN RUGBY 20 STOLE S**T CARD BASED PLAYERS FROM OTHER SPORTS GAMES HAVE THEY NOT STOLEN THE ONE MOST OBVIOUS MECHANIC THAT EVERY SINGLE RUGBY GAME EVER HAS NEEDED. Just briefly slow the game down for a second when there is a turnover. The frustration from getting the ball and immediately kicking it away within less than a second because every button does 5 different things depending on context is a decade long frustration. It honestly makes you wonder if anyone tests these games. The select closest player is useless half the time. There will be a break and instead of changing to the closest player you get given the cover defence - already running in a different direction from your analog stick and immediatly causing you to accidentally open a hole that you cannot cover. I am liking the career so far, looks to be potentially as good as Rugby 08. Despite my disappointment and frustrations I expect I will put at least 100 hours into this game. Sigh. EDIT: hold on, what. A kick from the base of the ruck in the 22 on the full goes back to where the kick was made from.....did they not read the rules of rugby? This is a rule that has been in play before I started watching nearly 30 years ago.
shocking, nothing like rugby 22 worse graphics camera is changing all over the place do not recommend
muy bueno
.
This doesn't feel like a rugby game but like a graphic novel. It feels like the result of the game is already determined and you are just simulating that you play. This game is soooo limited in meanings of a sports game. Sudden wrong passes, impossible rucks, no set play options, nothing. Your only options are pass or run straight; and defense is impossible to make, it doesn't matter how you play, the game just decides if they want to be tackled or not. As a rugby graphic novel, it's great; as a rugby game, lacks so much.
The game is great. I was a bit worried because of the bad reviews, but the game is truly excellent, I'm enjoying it and can't really complain about anything.
