I was lucky enough to get this game pre full release so I paid only a fraction of what the game actually costs now, and even back then the price was too steep. I rarely ever review but really just, I cannot not recommend this game enough, its bad, the mechanics are that of a school project level at best. And a further hatred comes to the studio that bought all the licenses clearly ignored the actual part of a rugby game, the actual play of the game. I try this game out every few months and its just the same. The laws are not properly applied either, offside is non existent at the majority of times, at rucks and offloads the ball just teleports into the opponents arms for a turnover. Even at this time of review at a 75% discount I wont recommend it. There is like barely any communication too, barely a roadmap, this is such an uninspired project. This review is a ramble but this is a sport I am passionate about and this game is an insult to the sport.

Game has lots of potential, but gameplay really not up to scratch. Even on easiest level, defending feels impossible - every tackle gets slipped and selecting defenders close to the ball tends to open up even more gaps.

Don't get me wrong, the game isnt perfect. But it isn't nearly as bad as the reviews say. I have played a few matches and I can honestly say it is enjoyable. The game feels "loose" sometimes but it can be looked past. Would recommend especially if on discount. The fact that teams receive their new kits each season on the game is also a huge bonus for me.

EA Rugby on PS2 or Jonah Lomu on PS3 were both better than this, and neither of those needed 100 GB of space

Potential to get better... still fun

Avant la mise à jour c'était déjà pas terrible mais ça restait jouable, là depuis la maj bé c'est devenu une grosse purge. Impossible de garder un ballon au niveau le plus difficile. Je n'ai plus envie d'y jouer. Merci

It's got glitches but gameplay is good and career mode is decent. Just some bad things such as my career mode team, ulster having a retired player in the team. Dave Ewars. In conclusion buy it when it's on sale below 20 pounds
