Es un increíble programa. Lo estoy utilizando para mi juego y, a pesar de no saber mucho sobre desarrollo, es muy versátil y he aprendido a usarlo en un par de semanas.
•open app •create a new file called “John buys a pizza at tescos” •Once the basic graphics load in it immediatly crashes •Instantly crashes when opening now money well spent
It's just MZ but less.
Versatile but also sometimes hard to understand. Also simple. Will also try out the other versions (2003, 2000, XP)
Let your imagination take over. I have fun with all RPG makers and this one is pretty flexible.

Rule of thumb if anything breaks while using this is to punch your monitor until your hands are covered in blood
Eines Tages wird mal ein Projekt fertig. bestimmt. aber tolles Programm, soviel Möglichkeiten die man daraus holen kann.
It's good enough. However, I have found the whole RPG Maker series to be a little overrated. I started a project in this but got frustrated so I am now in the process of migrating my game over to Smile Game Builder which I find much nicer to work with. Maybe I'm just a 3D guy. If you prefer 2D this is a good option.
RPG Maker MV is an interesting bag: On the one side, it is still a pretty viable to use engine. The underlying base can be updated with some knowledge to be more performant, and its old-school plugin environment gives the user quick access to expand on the base options their game would provide. It is also the first engine which did a fairly noticeable jump to modernize some aspects, of which a few still hold up today compared to earlier titles, while retaining most of the functionality and easy-to-use interface the tool is known for. On the other hand, this is the first entry in the franchise to feature less polish and stability up until development ceased, a lot of the event blocks it provides are needing a long overdue refresh in terms of available options and quality of life, and the modernization it offered was half-baked and was mostly already outdated the time it was released. What makes matters even more confusing is its successor - RPG Maker MZ, which was mostly an "Ace" version of MV when it released, but has become a solid "2.0", dropping in price with future sales, to a point where it becomes less and less sensible to even recommend MV over it, if not for the plugins. There simply are - to this day - plugins that have not been recreated in the same style or mindset as back in the MV era, simply because with MZ a lot has changed. By now, you will find solid replacements for most of them, but you have to compare if they are still free of charge, can be edited, and are truly giving you the exact same thing you are used to by older engines' plugin/scripting communities. For some, this will be nostalgia, for others it will be the important part of making the decision which engine to purchase. In summary: MV is still mostly on par with what its successor MZ can offer. It is missing a few new features and quality of life additions comparatively, and it has a lower maximum when trying to bump its underlying framework and codebase. Based on the time passed since both have released however, and their sale prices getting closer to each other every year, it is hard to recommend this software other than for the different plugin environment. If you do not care about that, or are open to how things are for MZ, I do not see much of a reason to get MV at this point. If you end up with it however, rest assured that you are not missing out on too much, and are still holding a solid piece of software, which still manages to enable an easy process with a lot of possibilities to create your game.
