About

█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌
Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.
█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌
█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌
█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌
█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌
█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

Reviews
Fair warning about this game, if you're not willing to slow down, read, run for your life and then come back and read some more, then this game might not be for you, you have to pay close attention or you will get lost, stuck and/or killed Truly one of the most atmospheric, immersive and scary games I've ever played, I'm not the biggest horror fan, especially not of the "Tons of gore in your face" type horror, but I absolutely love the aesthetic and mystery of analog horror and this game captures analog horror perfectly in my opinion.
very scary

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Steam shows that I have played 1.8 hours ... all just trying to get the game to load. The most I have seen is the splash screen (a nice red design)... followed by a black screen, loss of signal, a cold boot ... hours of research on how to get this game to run (revealing that the issue is very common) and then go through the cycle again. If you have time to waste, buy the game and hope for the best.
best game ever tbh, brevington the monsters are absolutely horrifying and insanely smart. the lore is crazy good and as a person who loves astrology, this is the goat also the graphics are insane anddd the puzzles are just the prime tung tung
This thing is a masterpiece, plain and simple. The only downside? It's pretty short. The game sets up a bunch of mechanics that I would love to see expanded futher. Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to the next release from Lunar Software!
The interaction, the puzzle, the level design, the story in this game are all so abstract that the game became an art piece
Great horror game but what the hell did I play though
The horror aspect of the game is fine and the mechanics are unique, no complicated features and it's perfect.
Moon, aestheticly pleasing environments, and scares. There are a few mods if you want an easier experience. The story is vague, but interesting. You discover by yourself and it's up to you to connect the dots. Pretty good as far as horror games go.
Incredibly atmospheric, eerie vibes with good puzzles. 9/10
