About

█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌
Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.
█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌
█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌
█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌
█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌
█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

First off a great use of UE5 I think, the graphics were immediately a staple part of the game and a lot of developers struggle to make good use of UE5 but these guys did great. Second I thought this was going to be more of a horror and hide kinda game as I went into this game knowing nothing not even watching the trailers to inadeptly. But the amount of puzzles was surprising and while it might not be for everyone I had a lot of fun with it. Especially the chemical puzzle, that was the most fun and genuinely made you feel like a scientist, I was ecstatic when I got it right on the first try. And lastly the story was insane and left me wanting a sequel that explains everything or a move or something. And the jump scares were amazing and the atmosphere all had my walking and jiggle peaking every corner. 10/10 would recommend.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Recomendo demais!
This game is clearly made for someone, but I am not that person. Clunky, slow, tedious, confusing. I abandoned it before even making it past the tutorial section of the game.
Crazy to think this all started with three people in the 2010s Amazing come up story, Amazing story in the game, Excellent Unnerving Horror from start to finish I thought the first half of the game was thrilling, Was no prepared for the second half, perfectly executed
Jogo maldito, desgraçado, miseravel, maligno, horrivel... recomendo
I am a HUGE fan of games with as strong a focus on diegetic information and action as possible, and ROUTINE really stands out in that department. The game controls well, the buttons on your multitool are immaculately "clickey", and the sound design is wonderful. The puzzles are a bit simple sometimes, but it's a choice I can make peace with because reliably orienting yourself in the environment also provides a solid challenge. I imagine the devs were trying not to make the puzzles too hard because actually moving around the areas while also remembering passcodes and important information about what you're actually doing takes a lot of brainpower. Getting to your destination just to realize you forgot what you need to do would probably suck, and as such I'm happy with how difficult the puzzles are. As everybody else has mentioned in their reviews, the atmosphere is extremely well crafted, and all of the pieces come together to make an intense, challenging, and satisfying experience. My only negative is that I ran into a few bugs with the enemies in the game that were immersion breaking, such as enemies getting stuck and popping in and out of existence
in unintended ways
. Overall, really lovely game, great experience, a bit short for the price point but I'll still happily recommend it to anyone that's into sci-fi horror.
