About

█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌
Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.
█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌
█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌
█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌
█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌
█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

This was excellent, and is unlike anything else you'll play in the best way possible. It does things that games just can't afford to do these days - it doesn't hold your hand in the slightest, there's no HUD, there's no objective marker, there's no yellow paint. There's just incredible environmental storytelling, sound design, horror, tension. The game makes you feel smart, again, in a way no other game I've played has. I'm blown away by this. This felt like a new experience in the way games just don't anymore. Please play this. It's cheap, done in 6 to 7 hours and well worth your time.
As someone who lived through the 80s: an absolute stylistic masterpiece. The setting and graphics are brilliant, and the sound design is outstanding. The story is beautifully told through the logs (albeit quite strange) and I imagine everyone interprets it a bit differently. For me, it’s a 9/10 - one point off because it turned out to be quite short and the replayability is, in my view, just so-so. But: Depending on your playstyle, you can spend 6–8 hours with the game - and for €25, that offers great entertainment. You really can't go wrong with it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What a fantastic game. Simply supperb horror. Similar to Alien: Isolation, but much better, in my opinion. 99 times out of 100 I prefer long games - I'll never advocate for short games, "Because I don't have time for a 50 hour game nowadays". Every now and then you get a game like this, and it's just perfect. I've played around 12 hours and I'm about halfway through. Granted I take everything slow, but the game allows it. It's so immersive and the horror really makes it a slow burn for me. I got it on-sale, but I wouldn't regret if I'd paid full price. It's as fun as the screenshots/videos make it look. Just a phenomenal game. A+++ horror science fiction.
Through me, you endure. Through you, i endure.
this game is fun and creepy. I do recommend but fair warning there is no guidence to the puzzles so you have to figure your way around. lots of puzzles and a few monsters you have to avoid
Recomendadisimo.
Great game
So scary I considered not finishing it multiple times. Amazing display of horror and game design.
