About

█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌
Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.
█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌
█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌
█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌
█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌
█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

how fickle and fragile life is... 12/10, such an amazing story.
Worth playing 100%. A simple yet well polished story with adaquate amounts of tension and intuitive game design. The only complaint I can think of is the enemy's detection cone needed some better tuning, you're seen comically easy. That said, don't make my mistake and sleep on it if you enjoy horror

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really good game TBH. Scarry, interesting lore and puzzles
Work of visual and auditory art
I can't stop thinking about it. It really is a masterclass in audio design and art direction which isn't a secret, but what really lingers with me is all the little details that make it such a complete horror marvel. The way it combines all its wonderfully crafted elements to make your brain turn against you, much like the main character, is so understated by many who played it. It made me jump the worst out of any horror game I've played with
Entity A's unpredictable behaviour.
Go into it knowing nothing, and find everything it has to offer. It won't dissapoint.
Very atmospheric, great aesthetic. Pretty short, but you can think of it as being like an interactive slow-paced movie. Doesn't insult your intelligence, so you need to pay attention (maybe take notes, Steam has a Notes section built into the Overlay, BTW) and there are some small puzzles that are cool too. I wish this game had the length of Dead Space, it's so good with it's short length, I wish there was more. (game doesn't pause at any point, so keep that in mind, if you are used to that giving time to breathe/calm down after a scare.)
Very spooky
The atmosphere was amazing. This is gaming as art. Scarry as can be while its at it.
Done and done. Cool game, crap ending. Took me 7 hours, roughly. If the ending had been better, i'd say "yes, i'd recommend it. But as is. Nope." I would not put upon my freinds such an ending. And to me, a game like this, very linier, needs a better ending imo. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth. And if ever i feel like i wish to replay this. The bad after taste comes back. So yeah, the ending broke it for me. At least it was an vague ending. Not an ending where the PC dies. I hate that. All the work, and the PC died. Worst types of endings. Always makes me hate the games. Same for movies. But i never hit a bug, never had any problems with the game. So on that merit alone. It's say Dragon fruit out of Cantalope Melon score. Would contemplate enjoying again, but the ending is not good enough. Cheers.
This is like if Alien: Isolation had a baby with the Backrooms. Absolute peak! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the no HUD feel is really nice for keeping you fully immersed. It feels so isolated, like you genuinely know you are the only one running for your life against those robots. The robots themselves might not look inherently creepy on their own, but they still make the game extremely tense because of their AI. I almost never see enemies that will pursue you for that long, even after you think you have successfully escaped a chase. The jumpscares are also really unexpected and creative. It is not your typical in your face kind of cheap scares, but more subtle things like doors closing suddenly or random objects flying. On top of that, the graphics look great and the game is optimized really well with absolutely no stutter. The only problem for me is that the trade off of having no HUD is a severe lack of guidance. You honestly won't know what you are doing most of the time, and even when there is some guidance, it still feels a bit too minimal for the average player. Otherwise, if you love pure, tense retro sci fi dread, this is definitely worth playing. Easily an 8.5/10!
