About

█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.
Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌
Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.
█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌
█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌
█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌
█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌
█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

If you enjoyed SOMA but wished it had a bit more of a scare factor, this is your game. Somewhat short (Finished in 9.5 hours and took my time) but genuinely the most tense I've been playing a game since my first time blind playing Silent Hill 2. I will say that it is relatively demanding - with my rig I could barely scratch 60fps at max settings native 4k.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I've never seen the retro sci-fi atheistic done so well before.
Great entities, great plot, great sound design, great graphics, amazing game
While not particularly rich gameplay-wise, this is undoubtedly a virtual stylistic masterpiece. Over a decade in development hell was definitely not in vain.
A very creepy sci-fi game set in an 80s vision of space travel and moon colonization. The aesthetic is Beyond the Black Rainbow meets Alien, and features a story of an otherworldly entity that manipulates humans to feed its needs. The gameplay is basically a walking sim through a spooky abandoned moon base as you read terminals and notes for clues on how to solve various puzzles. Excellent art direction and sound design. There's very little hand holding, and a lot of the initial difficulty is trying to figure out the CAT gadget, which serves as a 3-shot gun and a key of sorts. It is minimally lo-fi but also quite obtuse. This was apparently many years in the making. There's lots of room to expand on the story and gameplay if they choose to make a sequel.
L'ambiance est complétement folle
I like this game
As an experience this game is amazing. Its not quite your typical survival horror but it does give off those vibes. The closest game I would compare this to is Alien Isolation. The atmosphere is great, the sound design is spectacular, and it puts you in a sense of security right before the final area. Although the puzzles are great, sometimes they do feel a little obtuse. You really have to pay attention to the information being fed to you or you might get confused with your next objective or clue. Overall I would rate Routine a solid 8/10. Although there isn't much replayability, I think thee price of entry is well worth it.
C'est juste exceptionnel de faire un jeu si parfait
