I bought this game purely for the opening OST and nostalgia reason. [h2] Opening OST [/h2] 20 years ago, I stopped my undergraduate study for a year for personal reason, and went to work for a newly setup bank branch in another state. I was crying everyday. My uni friend loaned me his PS2 to while away the time, when I was working with the bank. The bank rented a few houses as accommodation for the employees, as the new branch was located up the hill. There was no Internet or TV services at the houses. So, I got to use the PS2 + TV daily. Day after day, after I have finished work, I will play the huge bunch of video games until I reached this game. Initially, I played this game as a normal game, but over time, I started to get mesmerized by the opening OST of this game, even if I did not know a single word of the lyrics. I put down the controller every time I started the game. Then, the opening OST will loop itself again and again, if there is no button was pressed after the start menu OST has finished. Thus, I spent hundreds of hours just watching and listening to the opening OST looping itself. The opening OST was very soothing for my tears. I didn't finish the game myself. So, maybe one day I will try to do a few runs to finish the game, if only for closure purpose. [h2] Life Will Be Better [/h2] For anyone who is going through a rough patch of their life, know that life will be better. Even if it takes 20 years, don't give up. マップアビリティ周りは本当になんとかならんのですかというところはありますが、広大な世界でキャラクターが活き活きと動いている、自分だけの物語を作れるという点では〇 OPも◎です
RPGをやりこむ人にとっては最高のゲームです。 PS2版で全キャラクリアして挑んだ真ボスとの戦闘は最高に難しく楽しかった。 そしてリマスター版では色んな要素の追加があり、真ボスはかなり楽になったが 満を持して登場した極ボスはこれまた最高に難しくて楽しかったです。
Okay, in less than 20 hours of blind playtrough the game managed to kick my ass by making me dig my own grave. Wasn't expecting this from the last Final Fantasy gaiden serie I'vent played yet.
the granular systems of this game can be intimidating, but the intention behind their design was not for you to have all of gameFAQs at your fingertips and trigger your micromanaging fomo. it was originally an SNES game that was trying to give you a fresh experience every time. if you've never played a saga game before, this is a great place to start, and i implore you to play it without looking at a guide first. here are some spoiler-free tips to help you manage the difficulty: 1. set progression to slow and focus on discovering and completing quests instead of fighting random battles 2. recruit a bunch of characters and try them out, but don't invest money or jewels into them until you are sure you want to keep them 3. spend your money on strong armor and healing spells before cool weapons. also, have everyone learn a healing spell! it's way cheaper than potions that's all you need to know to enjoy your first playthrough. it goes as deep as you want, but there's no obligation to get into that right away (and no point if you don't enjoy the surface). gl hf!
