great game such a classic
Crashes every time I try to load a saved game from the main menu, if the window has been minimized and then reopened or the PC has been on sleep mode. Also crashes when I try to quit the game.
I came for the roller coasters. I stayed for the tiny people screaming.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 is old in the best possible way. The graphics are simple, the menus feel from another era, and sometimes the pathing makes you question everything. But once you start building rides, placing food stalls, adjusting ticket prices, and designing coasters that probably should not pass any safety inspection, the game becomes very hard to stop playing. There is something very satisfying about watching a [strike]roller coaster explode[/strike] park grow from a few paths and rides into a chaotic little world full of happy guests, broken bathrooms, lost visitors, angry customers, and people throwing up near the exit of your newest coaster. The fun is not just in building the perfect park. It is in all the small disasters too. A ride breaks down, guests complain, money gets tight, your paths become a maze, and somehow fixing all of that is part of the charm.

It definitely shows its age, but the core game is still excellent. If you like theme parks, management games, or creative chaos, this is absolutely worth playing. Build the dream park. Ignore the screams. Check the maintenance crew.

freaking FUN AS FOOK
Entretenimiento sin limites
Super fun and retro. Very challenging and fun!
This game is tantamount to a dog's best performance in a dog show that had only one contestant and it is the dog, and he won. -I spent most of my time with this game in the beginner parks: Electric Fields, Factory Capers, and Crazy Castle. These were the original "beginner" parks included in my old CD copy of Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 that I got at a book fair when I was 8 years old. It was incredibly nostalgic to finally beat these scenarios and basically just use this game as a kind of low-key mental therapy for those times in my life when I have needed the escape. The game is truly hilarious at times and the absurdity of being both God and park management creates for such a pleasant time, building path mazes, rollercoasters, and food courts fit for royalty. It does a great job at putting you there and the game system is truly as charming as Lego or Minecraft. There are many ways to play this sandbox game and the vibe is totally unpretentious and innocent in nature, it is just refreshing after playing so many games where adrenaline and blowing people away is the usual. Magic Carpet for the win, I will always rename that ride to 'Money Carpet'.
buen juego de gestion de recursos
