Also don't forget to watch out for dirt that is more hidden behind furniture or in hidden corners, so make sure you suck everything neatly. You will also face some hostile obstacles such as carpets, sucking a carpet completely requires extra time and energy, so you will also have to pay attention to your battery meter and return to the charging station in time to avoid losing your suction power by charging the battery. Currently the game offers about 40 levels with plans for future levels where you can suck everything with all pleasure.

These can range from houses, office spaces, jails, hospitals, dentist offices, garages… All of these levels are infinitely repayable. You’ll have two bars; one on each side of your screen. One will tell you your robot’s battery life and the other one how full of sucked-up trash your robot is. The battery life is time-based and as long you didn’t reach 100% trash picked up; you can go and recharge at the docking station as much as you need to continue your cleaning journey. That being said, I would like to add that carpets slow you down immensely, so definitely keep an eye on that battery life or you’ll fail the level as I did. It felt vibrant, and lively even in areas you would expect to be dark like the attic or the garage. The darkest level I came across was the supermarket, one of the best places that show visual details. I failed that level several times, a bit on purpose because I was admiring and trying to read the details of every item in there. The police office on the other hand looked a bit static or grainy. [h1]Sound:[/h1] Unlike the store page promises, I didn’t find the music relaxing. I describe it as fun, playful, upbeat, and maybe funky. There seems to be enough track to not have the feeling it’s repetitive. Since it wasn’t my cup of tea sound-wise, I turned it off and put on some YouTube. [h1]Controls:[/h1] Smooth and easy controls. You use your mouse as a camera function to look around and your WASD keys to move around. At the time of writing there is no controller support, nor is there key rebinding and it’s unclear if there ever will be in the future. [h1]Issues:[/h1] Sit tight, and grab a snack and a drink because it is going to be a bit of a longer list. I understand that the robot has a battery life, which makes perfect sense; but sometimes it doesn’t go down fast and sometimes blink twice and half your battery life is gone. The odd thing was when I replayed that same level it suddenly would go slower. It doesn’t feel consistent. One time I even saw it run empty fairly rapidly when I was still at the charging dock; even hugging it and making sure I was against it. That makes me wonder if it is a small bug or flaw. Occasionally I had a few extra docking stations but sometimes on what I deemed a larger map, I couldn’t find extra docks. So either I overlooked them or they’re not there. I simply do not feel like going around to find all the dock stations first just to know where they are all at. This gave me too much battery awareness; not making me feel relaxed. It even had the opposite effect even as I stressed and constantly glared over to see where it was at and if it wasn’t draining too fast again. Sometimes levels still had trash left, and if you’re 100% full of trash then you can’t go recharge as it’ll end the level automatically. You can still suck up trash while being full as long you have a battery left and make it back to the station on time. That left me incredibly unsatisfied and even a little bit grumpy as I had to leave trash behind now and then. Yet, at the same time, oddly enough a part of me felt like there wasn’t always enough trash. Just bits here and there spread out over a level; which resulted in never getting that satisfying feeling of cleaning. After some levels, it became quickly repetitive for me and the little pop-up of level complete congratulations simply isn’t satisfying or motivating enough for me. As someone who’s from a country that does not use QWERTY by default, I had to go into my pc settings to swap my keyboard out, which also means I had to swap back and forth if I wanted to type something after alt-tabbing out of the game. As I stated in the controls, there is no rebinding of keys nor automatic support for any other keyboards. The camera movement occasionally trigged a tiny bit of motion sickness, so I had to be careful with it. Which made me reply even more on my keyboard to move so I had to use my camera less. Turning the music off and/or sounds off to then press apply is useless, it kept turning itself back on. This is how you get stressed; I shouldn’t be turning it off every time I go back to level select or to a new level. Thankfully pc sound options and just mute it there is a thing. My pc fans for some reason started to blow so hard that I was convinced my pc case would take off at any given moment, confusing me as I don’t have that issue with other games; even after tinkering with the settings. In the storage room level I was able to go over the shelves that are higher than the robot, which was rather impressive, that may be a small flaw or bug. It was a little bit funny to see, to be honest. A missed opportunity that we can’t choose our robot pal, no customization or choice of favourite colour (s). [h1]Closing word:[/h1] Well, I went in with high hopes as the game looked fun. The hope it would’ve been a bit like another very popular relaxing cleaning sim but in robot vacuum form. Just a calming, time waster with the gameplay of not a care in the world. Zooming around; tidying up satisfyingly. Alas. For me, as you can mostly get from my issues section, it failed to deliver and I was not relaxed or satisfied in any way. Nor did it feel rewarding to finish the levels. It became dull fast. Surely it has potential, but it isn’t quite there and I’m not sure if it will ever get there as in the activity feed, not once in over a year a single post has been made, and no news or update either. Don’t get me wrong, it is a fully functioning game. I’m sure some people, less picky than I, might enjoy the game as for some it could be a nice fun little timewaster. But I’m sticking with my “I’m sorry but no” for this one. So unless a major update drops one day, I won’t return to it as I zoomed my way through the levels and I have better time wasters I can retreat to. Fantastická záležitost! Neskutečné množství zábavy, hodně nadupaných levelů a určitě budou další. Oddechové, jednoduché na ovládání a občas pekelný oříšek, kdy nevíte, zda se dostanete do vytouženého cíle, nebo vás porazí vychytralý nepřítel koberec. FANTASTICKÉ, velký palec. Ne velký ne. Ten největší.

Very relaxing. Worth the price. Do hope the devs would add controller support and make selecting the next level a bit easier. Maybe a "Continue" option or a visual in the level select about which level number is currently selected.

Kid likes to play it but keeps asking me when the "more levels coming soon" for the last 2 years is actually coming out.

If you're a clean freak, this might be the game for you! Robo Vacuum Simulator is an interesting game with 1 objective, CLEAN. Interesting levels and nothing too challenging to test my witz of how to get the job done BUT there are Three Concepts I've learned from this game which are obstacles like rugs that slows you down, location Location LOCATION for the charging station, and Monitor The Battery Life! It'd be nice to have added features such as the Roomba upgrades like "Brush Wheel Installment - 25% Pickup More Trash", color customization, or cat temporary sits on a Roomba for a few seconds if the player goes near the cat, etc. Despite me ranting nonsense throughout the game, I had fun playing this game!
