14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

The game is really good. There's a bug that turns the textures to mud after about an hour and a half (I have 16GB of VRAM so if you have less i suspect it will happen quicker). You have to restart the game. Still worth it.
great game hard as ♥♥♥♥ but great game.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 28: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game will make you wonder if you're crazy. But in the best way you never expected. You should play it.
Beautiful
Story: 10/10 Strategic planning and patience needed. Just download and play the game.
The actual gameplay is fine. Not really anything special to be honest. Point gun - shoot thing. There's a dash and a jump. The guns are... fine I guess. Pretty standard stuff. Pistol, rifle, shotgun, that kind of thing. You unlock different modifiers for them which in theory sounds good but some of them are just down right awful. Plenty of areas to explore and each zone looked very different from each other. Enemy variety is decent enough. Game ran pretty well for the msot part. Had an issue where textures weren't loading properly after a few hours of play. Happened multiple times. Restarting fixed the issue for a while. What killed any drive to actual finish the game was the story. It's supposed to be this deep abstract story of pain and guilt but really it's mostly just nonsense. There are moments when you enter the "house" and it goes to a first person perspective and everything just comes to a halt while you do these stupid interactions with slow animations. Look, a squid plushie. Better spend a minute picking it up and looking at it while I just sit here waiting in a fast paced action rogue-like. The main character talks and acts like... I don't know. Boring? Flat? Uninteresting? All three apply but don't really nail the actual characterization. I mean, it's not the worst game I've every played and it does have some fun moments to moments but overall I find I don't have any interest in Returning to Returnal. I got it on sale for $20 and I feel like I over paid.
Returnal is on the whole really good. which is why I'm going to spend some time picking at all the small parts that are bad instead. Firstly, there's some classic playstation ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that you can just ignore entirely but still not great to have that here bloating the game. The textures stop loading correctly about an hour into every session which is not good, it doesn't make the game unplayable I barely even notice it unless I'm fighting a boss or taking the time to actually look at the environment instead of just speeding through it. It mostly just makes the story parts fall flat so just remember to close the game and re-open it before doing anything more important than running rooms. The melee in this game is not quite good, it has some very strong magnets on it that let you slash at and instant kill any small enemy vaguely in front of you, about 70 percent of the time. sometimes the magnets don't work and due to the melee animation being just a little too bespoke (and long) failing to melee an enemy will see you punished for even trying. The same counts for the mantling animation. Which locks you into place mantling up a ledge for just long enough that if you do it in the middle of a combat you are getting hit. Aside from that the game is great! it plays really well I like how it incentivizes taking risks with parasites and malfunctions alike. And I like how you're made to swap weapons not just as they level up but to unlock the weapon modifiers that make them better over time. It's a game that lets you play the way you want but crucially forces you to experiment until you find the playstyle you actually like best rather than the one you start with. I'm also sending compliments to the flow of combat, you can get through the entire game a coward hiding behind pillars and only ever repositioning as you get overwhelmed but because the obolites (gold) the enemies drop disappears after a couple seconds you are again incentivized to sprint through the room closing in on the newly dead while killing the soon to be enemy combatants. it's a great way to reward skill mastery while allowing the skill floor to remain comfortably low. Lastly if you happen to get the end of act 1 within your first couple runs I would recommend not actually beating the boss so you can spend some more time unlocking weapon modifiers because I beat act 1 immediately and languished at the start of act 2 for hours as my weapons were universally underpowered due to my far faster than expected progression. As such, I would recommend the game, buy it on discount though, because I don't recommend giving playstation any more money than absolutely necessary. Hope you have a good time with returnal I sure did.
This game man, it makes me crazy.
