Return to Monkey Island is an unexpected, thrilling return of series creator Ron Gilbert that continues the story of the legendary adventure games.

4/5 This is a love letter to the Monkey Island (MI) series and a finely crafted adventure. It's hard to compare one Monkey Island to another because there is such a difference in their qualities, and flaws. Then, if you consider who developed it, when it was developed, and how playing one game might change your enjoyment of another... it becomes murky. Gun to my head... have to rank them? Best to worst: MI 3 MI 6 MI 1 MI 2 MI 5 MI 4 But your list may vary. This is the opinion of a 40 year old gamer who's never before seen a MI game, and in the span of one month, played through all games for the very first time. As far as Return to Monkey Island goes. I had a great time playing. Everything played smooth, puzzles fair, story fine, dialog good, art amazing, music solid. Biggest docked points come from a strong lean on previous game nostalgia and rather mundane new characters or toned down old ones. Not flavorless but more mellow. Which I highly prefer, compared to the irritating sods from MI5. P.S. In case you are reading this for some reason and know nothing of the series yourself. MI6 continues after MI2, but acknowledges 'some' events from 3-4-5.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Ho molto apprezzato the return of monkey Island dopo aver giocato ai primi due moooooolti anni fa. Leggero, divertente, si finisce in una quindicina di ore. Con qualche aiutino....
THIS IS A REAL ADVENTURE, I PLAYED ALL THE ORIGINALS AND THEY WERE FUN TO, I JUST WISH GAME MAKERS COULD REVISIT
Goeie humor.

Per gli appassionati della saga non può mancare
I didn't think I would enjoy this as much as I did. It really does feel like a throwback to point and click adventures but done in a modern way. I wasn't a fan of the art style at first but honestly it grew on me as the game went on. Would definitely recommend this to anyone still on the fence.
Good sequel of a legendary saga...when you play in hard mode.
Fun game! Not quite the challenge level of earlier generations of point and click adventures, but I guess people don't have that sort of patience today. Puzzles all made sense and felt rewarding. Overall, a nice way to revisit an old classic in a nostalgic but refreshed way. Worth playing.
in the words of a wise british man, Jolly Good Show!
