Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 47/day in the week to Sep 7 → 99.14/day in the week after.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 77/day in the week to Jul 21 → 103.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Just finished playing the main game, Leon for the 1st run, Claire for the 2nd. I enjoyed this a lot overall. For a game that's what... seven or more years old now, this still looks really good. When I started, I found myself surprised how I took my time at the intro gas station just taking in all the little details. The gameplay and movement feel fantastic. The atmosphere and sound design are great as well. The story is... well, Resident Evil. It can be a mix between serious scenes and borderline horror B movie goofiness, which I personally really enjoy. There are a lot of extra game play modes, but I only tried them a little bit so don't feel like I can fairly review them. From what little I played, they are much harder than the main story modes.
Resident Evil 2 Remake is what I consider the perfect Resident Evil game. From its god-tier level design to its fun and engaging puzzles, everything feels incredible. This is easily one of the greatest video game remakes ever made, alongside Final Fantasy VII Remake, and it shows what can happen when developers truly respect and understand the source material. Unlike Resident Evil 3, which lost much of the essence of the original game, Resident Evil 2 Remake preserves everything that made the classic special while improving it in almost every way. In my opinion, it's even better than the original. The atmosphere, exploration, resource management, and constant tension come together to create one of the best survival horror experiences ever made. I've played through this game countless times while working toward 100% achievements, yet I never got bored for a single moment. Every playthrough remained just as enjoyable as the last, which speaks volumes about the game's incredible replay value and overall quality. It's easily one of my all-time favorite games and, for me, a 10/10 masterpiece.
You know what I love about Raccoon City? Everybody is having the worst night of their lives. And somehow... I'm having a wonderful time. The entire city has collapsed. People are screaming. Zombies are wandering through the streets. The police station looks like somebody locked hundreds of people inside and politely waited for civilization to eat itself. Beautiful. Then Leon shows up. First day on the job. Oh, buddy. Imagine putting on that uniform thinking you're going to write parking tickets and flirt with the receptionist. Instead, half the department wants to eat you. Welcome to law enforcement. The zombies are fantastic because these things absolutely refuse to understand when they've lost. You shoot one. Down. Good. Turn around. GRRRR. Oh? We're doing this again? Fine. Down again. Five minutes later I walk through the same hallway and there he is crawling toward me like we have unfinished business. I actually started laughing. I admire the confidence. Not the intelligence. The confidence. But then... Mr. X arrives. Now we're having fun. You hear those footsteps. THUMP. THUMP. THUMP. Everybody else hears that and starts panicking. I hear it and smile. Because here comes this gigantic bald bastard wearing a trench coat two sizes too small, walking through the police station like somebody told him he's the main character. He sees Leon. Starts walking faster. Ohhhhh. Look at him. He thinks he's intimidating. That's precious. And I love that he never stops. Open a door? He's coming. Solve a puzzle? He's coming. Stop for five seconds because you need to organize your inventory? THUMP. THUMP. THUMP. Jesus Christ, do you need attention that badly? I respect it. The RPD itself is magnificent. Dark hallways, boarded windows, blood everywhere, ammunition constantly disappearing and something horrible making noises behind every other door. Normal people would want to leave. I wanted to see the basement. That's probably why I like this game so much. Resident Evil 2 understands that good horror isn't about making something jump into your face every thirty seconds. It's about pressure. You know something is coming. You hear it coming. You know you're running low on ammunition. And you open the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ door anyway. That's confidence. Leon and Claire are fighting desperately to escape Raccoon City. I'm walking around collecting keys because apparently this nightmare police station has more locked doors than Fort Knox. And somehow... I'm enjoying every second. By the end, zombies don't scare me anymore. Lickers don't scare me. Mr. X doesn't scare me. The only thing I'm genuinely afraid of is seeing: INVENTORY FULL when I find another box of ammunition. Now that's horror. Filthy. Paranoid. Beautifully violent. One of the greatest horror remakes ever made. Mr. X spends the entire game hunting you. I spent the entire game wondering when someone was going to tell him... he isn't the scariest thing in the building.

Currently only finished the first runs for both Leon and Claire! I love this game. Requiem was my first Resident Evil game I beat and I was fully convinced it will my favorite one ever. Oh man was I wrong. I started playing the RE games in order by release, and I stared re2r without much hype, this game never really interested me and I found the gameplay of it pretty boring while watching playthroughs. Oh my god I was so wrong. It's one of my favorite games I've ever played in my 15? years of gaming experience. The story, the characters, the vibe of the game, it's all unmatched. Also I don't think any Resident Evil game will ever feel more "Resident Evil-y" than this one. It's genuinely the perfect game set in that world. I won't talk about lore or gameplay details here to not spoil anything, but it's definitely a game that all gamers have to try at least once in their lives, even without any prior RE knowledge. Absolute peak, Claire and Sherry best girls.
