Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Sep 7 → 3.86/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Jul 20 → 5.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Love this game but why no Steam Cloud Sync?
very fun, the first game (1996) is better than this second installment, but this is certainly still good.

Good
Once you get used to the tank controls, it's a really enjoyable game.
没有中文可以忍,但是这个操作太别扭了,刚进去连走路都走不明白,转身也很困难,一转视角上下左右的移动逻辑又变了。。。还是云通算了。。。完全玩不了
great game i like that sherry holds claires hand when they are together
오랜만에해도 재밌음 ㅋㅋ
WHAT A SEQUENCE MAAAN
The first game is clearly a test-drive into bringing the genre of survival horror into the gaming sphere's attention, using popular 90s snuff horror movie filmography as an inspiration to the game tone and set. But this time, the focus of the storyline development happens a few days after the mansion's revelations, set within Raccoon City, with a much more "action-packed" adventure. Following the first game ideation, it's still basically a game about puzzle solving inside a map exploration with an evolved narrative, following the prequel context around the colonial mansion being used as a secret bio weapon laboratory in collusion with a large-scale pharmaceutical company, and how the effects of this conspiracy turned into a whole town population being decimated. This time we meet the double protagonists Leon S. Kennedy, a first-day officer at the town of Raccoon City, and Claire Redfield, his newly-met partner, sibling of the first game protagonist, Chris Redfield. Leon is heading to Raccoon City ahead of his first day as a police officer, while Claire visits the town mainly to uncover her brother's whereabouts. Their paths collide as they find themselves inside a destroyed town inhabited by undead civilians and biochemically modified entities. Furthermore, as the duo digs an escape route out of the city, they uncover even more revelations around the conspiracy hovering over the town, along with important details previously incubated about the pharmaceutical company (Umbrella Corp.) and those responsible for all the casualties, the creators of the series' main subjects, the T-Virus and the G-Virus, all hidden right under their own noses, below the town police station, tying the company's conspiracy to the town's original purpose even more closely.
a little tip?
Again, as I recommended in the first game review, use ReShade with Geom to turn the graphics into something closer to the original screen representation (by mixing the pixelated pre-rendered background sets with actual scanlines simulated over your game, so it can make the pixel-chunky pre-rendered bgs into something more faithful to the anachronistic gameplay) I loved this game, as it's an excellent sequel and an exquisite game regardless of the franchise, giving more reasons to those who loved it before.
A bit outdated but really enjoyable and playable. Fantastic game for its time
